Course Curriculum Overview
The course is relevant after the first year and imo the college is better than most IITs for cyber security and data forensics. I think they shouldnt start with the fundamentals of cs and basic programming, rather , the course should have better coding exposure
Internships Opportunities
The students get a 6 months internship opportunities from the university in their final year of the course and apart from that, you can get a letter of recommendation if u choose to go for an internship in your other years of the course.
Placement Experience
On campus placement is available , the students are eligible for the same in 4th year(for btech) and 5th yearr(for mtech), the placements in the field of cyber security is better in comparison to most nits.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is different for different years because it is an integrated course. The fees is 65000 semester for the first 3 years of bachelors degree and for the next 2 years of masters degree it is 90000 per semester
Campus Life
The clubs here are inactive/ not present but from time to time some tech events or cultural events are conducted by the faculty/seniors of the college. The college life here is fine for the most part.
Admission
I applied to other nits and iits but due to rank inflation i did not get my preferred course/ rank. I think the same was due to my lack of concentration and discipline during my preparation for jee mains and advanced.
Faculty
Exam structure- 4 exams in a sem TA1&2, MID SEM AND END SEM. TA1 and 2 are of 25 marks, mid sem is of 50 marks and end sem is of 100 marks. The paassing marks is 50% of the maximum marks. The faculty is good for the most part but i recommend studying on your own for your own benefit, also dont rely on the college for coding, learn on your own.
