Likes

The campus life is very good with lots of activities going on with th accordance of Forensic Science. So students have a environment of study. The infrastructure is world class with best labs of the country and highly educated and trained faculties.
The faculties over here are highly educated and trained. They have lots of experience and this helps the students to get inner depth of subjects. The labs are equipped with lots of world class facilities which enables students to have a hands on.
The campus is very neat and clean with lot's of greenery.

Dislikes

Campus do not have it's own playground for outdoor games.

Course Curriculum Overview

The academic curriculum not only teaches the subjects of Forensic Science but also the ethics of Forensic Science students which we should follow from now and which we should adopt when we are in our workplace.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of the University is good as per the course of BTech btech is considered. The placement in those courses is 100% and also in Management courses. More placements are in cyber related fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee when I took admission was 50000 per semester. But for now the fee is increased to 75000 for new batches as the facilities have increased and the quality of education. You can get concession in fee if you do have scholarship

Campus Life

The overall campus life is good and you will have lots of curriculum activities through your course. Like attending many seminar, events and visits to different places in including Centre of Excellence and Forensic Science laboratory.

Admission

I am student of BSC MSC Forensic Science. I took admission in 2021 and now I am doing Specialisation in Cyber Forensics which is focused on examination and investigation of Cyber Crimes. The eligibility for admission to the university is that you have to qualify the national level entrance test.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:40 which is good. The faculties over here are very supportive and they help you out will all the difficulties you are facing. The best part of the university is the faculties.

What it is to be a student at The National Forensic Sciences University

Placement Experience:

My course and the placements are mostly government-related. We go to forensic science laboratories (FSLs) which are all over India for jobs. We can be recruited as scientific officers or scientific assistants etc. In Kerala, I have to give the PSC examination for recruitment.

NFSU Gandhinagar is best for forensic science!!

Placement Experience:

Many forensics labs and some government agencies which deals in it are the ones that provides us jobs after pursuing Forensic Science degrees. On and average the initial salary is 5-6 lakhs a year if you are passed out from NFSU.

A Glimpse of SVNIT

Placement Experience:

SVNIT offers good placements. Students begin to recieve offers from 6th sem onwards. Companies visiting the campus include Accenture, Samsung, Byjus, Google, Goldman Sachs, Federal Bank and amny more. The highest package was 40LPA (domestic) in the year 2022. Average placement for all branches is 10LPA and for CSE the average is around 15 LPA. Percentage of students placed was 80%. For MSc Mathematics, the average was thrid highest among all branches in 2022 which stood at 9.22 LPA. As I have a passion towards economics, I will look for similar jobs and services as it is also aligned towards mathematics.

My side of view

Placement Experience:

Many companies visit our campus for internship opportunities such jpmc, Barclay, gap, etc. To get through this it is important to have a solid understanding of fundamental concepts and to have a nice project. The internship period is of 2 months and get in summer vacation period. You can get a research internship in the college itself under the professors, google, Microsoft, Amazon, l and t, TVs and many companies who visited every year for internships with a good amount of stipend and opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If your concept of 11th and 12th standards is good then you can pass the paper and the difficulty level is there as it is an institute of national importance but if focused properly on 11th and 12th then entrance is not hard to clear. And the teaching faculties are very good and the infrastructure is awesome and the teachers are friendly, mou is there with many govt organisations so an internship with cbi is also there

Course Curriculum Overview:

The student ratio is a bit higher as mostly the females prefer to do forensics sciences. The male ratio is lesser than the female one. In my class, the ratio of males to female is about two ratios eight. The exam is not as hard and it's on a basic level as compared to that of the Jai and its level but as the University has started itself from the beginning, the level is getting harder.

Studying in national forensic sciences university (NFSU)

I applied for RV institute of legal studies (Bangalore) for their course Bsc(hons) forensic science and criminology. I chose NFSU as it is a national college recognised by the government of India which assures me of better placements. I didn't get a rejection as I did not apply for a lot of universities Eligibility for NFSU must have completed their +2 Exams accepted NFAT, JEE There is no particular cutoff as NFAT is subject to differences in marks every year but on an average your goal should be atleast 80/100 marks...Read More

Understanding The complexity of College life
