Course Curriculum Overview

5

The courses provided by the university are to the requiremnts of the branch. In the first year, every branch students have to study same subjects which are related to basic engineering. Subjects like engineering maths, computer programming, electrical science, environmental science, engineering drawing and workshop, contemprory india, physics, chemistry, statistics, into. to AI and ML. Also some language courses like genral english and written communication which improves language skills. Also yoga is teached to reduce stress among students. The college hours for the first year is 11am to 6pm.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are very great compare to other private colleges. There is a dedicated placement cell called as III cell Nirma University. All eligible intenships, placement offers, PPO's are mailed to students time to time. The average placement for my branch is around 9.5 LPA and highest was around 35 LPA. All the top recruiters like Google, Microsoft, meta, Nvidia, TCS, Infosys, and many more comes to our college to reqruite freshers.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general category, the fees installments are to be paid semester wise as it starts, so there are two installments yearly. The total fees per semester is around 1,20,000 so yearly it is 2,40,000. By summing up the total fees for entire 4 year B.Tech course is around 9,60,000 and you can take it roughly 10,00,000 by adding some miscellaneous expenses. The first installment for the very first semester was 1,27,500 which includes 1,14,800 as tution fees, 1000 as university enrollment fees, 3500 as exam fees, 1200 for welcome kit and 7000 as security deposit for library which is refundable. And from second semester onwards it is 1,18,300 as total fees where 1,14,800 is tution fees and 3500 are exam fees. For SC and ST students (freeship card), only exam fees i.e. 3500 is to be per semester. For NRI and NRI sponsered students, $3250 USD is to be paid per semester.

Campus Life

5

The overall campus life of the college is very amazing as the campus is quite large and lush green. There are many spots inside the campus where students can spend quality time with thier friends. Also there are three canteens in the campuss namely K-canteen, law canteen and pharma canteen. Also vending machines are placed in the lecture building which has some snacks and drinks in it. There are manu clubs like individual department clubs, dance and drama clubs, technical clubs, entrepreneurship clubs, sports clubs, NCC cadets and much more. every student can take part in any clubs and activiteies which are held periodically in the campus. The annual cuture fest which happens in our college is elysium which is very large event in which many tech and non-tech activities are held. Other than this small tech fest are happening thorughtout the year which includes hackathons, workshops, seminars etc. Also sports tournaments are held annually in which may sports events are organised by th university in the particular sports ground of the university.

Admission

I compared mainly three colleges which were DAIICT, Nirma University and PDEU. Among all the collge which i liked the most was DAIICT then Nirma University then PDEU. In every aspect wheather rankings, palcements, campuss life, curriculum, DAIICT is the best then Nirma then PDEU. But my merit was slightly low so i got admission in Nirma university. But if we compare DAIICT and Nirma mostly the perform same but only in placement DAIICT beats Nirma so Nirma was still a great choice.

Faculty

5

The faculties are great in terms of their educational background, there teaching style, their teaching expirience everything is great. But yeah few of the faculties are average as not every teaching methodor energy can match every student. Overall the faculties are great in teaching and are always helpfull for doubt solving and for any other academic querries. The course structure and marking system is divided into three parts i.e. CE (continuous evaluation), LPW (lab/practical work) and SEE (semester end examination). The weightage of the three components are 30, 30, 40 (in %) respectively. The CE component include class tests and quizes, assingments and sessional exam (mid-sem). The LPW component includes the regular practical work, practical exam and viva. The SEE is the last final exam. In the entire semester, exams which are held are class tests, quizes, sessional exam, LPW exam and SEE. If some student fails in either CE or LPW component so he or she will not be allowed to give SEE for that particular course and that course will be a backlog. Also if his or her attendance is below 85%, he or she will be given extra assigment or repetation of the course depending upon how less his or her attendance is. If the student pass both the component but fails SEE than another reapeter exams are scheduled after 2 months and if this is also failed then it leds to the repetiton of that course.

Night Life

5

Nightlife is very beautiful in our college as the lightings are well equipped which provide pleasant atmosphere. My favorite spots inside the campuss are the stairs between N and E block, the common area with umbrellas in N block, the lawn behind E block and there are many more. Also the library of our university in mind blowing. It in inside the E block, which is the tallest buiding of our university with 14 floors, in which 5 floors are of the library. It has all the books which you can think of in it and the readind areas are so great that you can spend an entire day reading. Also it has dedicated space for meetings and GD so that it dosent disturbs the readers. alos the view from the reading area is magnificient as entire cricket ground of university is visible. There are 3 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. I dont know much about it as I am a day scholar.

Other Applied Colleges

Pandit Deendayal Energy University - [PDEU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Engineering)

Nirma University ranks better than PDEU and by going through the placement statistics of both the college i choose Nirma University over PDEU.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
