The Board of Governors has decided that GTU will bear the tuition fees of the following students of GTU PG Schools and Gujarat Power Engineering and Research Institute (GPERI):
- Students who have lost both their parents/surviving parent/ main wage earner during the COVID-19 pandemic. Such students should not have taken a similar benefit from the state/government/central scheme to be eligible for this GTU scholarship.
- Students whose father or mother has died as a martyr while serving the Indian Army/ Indian Navy/ Indian Air Force/ CRPF/ SRPF.
