My diploma journey at BVPIT . First step towards architecture

The Diploma in Architecture course at BVPIT Bardoli gives a solid foundation for students who want to start a career in architecture or go for B.Arch later. The curriculum is well-structured with a good series of subjects – starting from basic drawing, design principles, and construction, then moving on to building materials, services, working drawings, and design studios. Practical learning is a strong part of the course with model-making, site visits Overall, the course is job-oriented, practical, and well-sequenced. With a little more modernisation, for future architects.

So internship is the last semester where we join a well known firm . Jobs are as an intern or an assistant. Student is usually upto 8,000 per month as per each one's ability they are been paid by the firms. Students get a real life experience that how things actually work in real life out side the campus

Overall paid an amount of rs 48000 as my annual fees and a 250 rs for my application. As I was a management quota student from another board I wasn't eligible for any government scholarships or schemes. There is tution fees waiver scheme for meritorious students . 50% scholarship for open category and sc st had approx 100% scholarship.

We have VBT Unity an annual event of entire Vidyabharati Trust typically in month of february and March . A well-managed library with the required stock of books is available for each and every student. Each class is under cctv surveillance and computer labs and other required labs are being provided within the campus. Sports and extracurricular activities are also promoted in campus. The department has its on page named Diploma Architecture

I didn't apply to any other college because BVPIT was my first and the last choice due to many solid reasons. The city is not very crowded and I felt very comfortable in the admission process. it was quite easy to hold independently, and I completed my admission process with faculty help with no need of parents to interfere or for me to travel far away to the college. And a student who has passed 10th standard can apply here with a very simple process where you just have to visit the college with the required documents and contact the concerned in prior. No such cutoffs or entrance exams to be cleared ,and a 10th or 12th passout can come here

We had total 8 faculties for all 3 years of students.where 3rd used to go for their internship so faculties were enough to clear each and every one's doubts and queries. Each faculty had their own expertise where jignesh sir and Niranjan sir are best at design and construction related. Nehali mam for drawing and services yogesh sir for struture estimate and surveying. Each faculty gave us the equal respect and shared their knowledge for our best. We had one end semester exam by the University and a mid sem exam by the college.

There are no gyms We have a canteen for meals throughout the day and fast food and snacks available in campus and around campus we have many hangout spots to go for lunch or break times. Martinls lapinos ls delicious are well known places nearby at walking distance.
