Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, I chose a foreign language because I observed one could get a job immediately after graduation if you've learned well enough. That too is German because I feel it has the largest market in this sector and less supply. Center of German Studies (CGS) is one of the strictest centers in the School of Languages. The teachers are quite punctual and gritty. However, at the moment, due to a lack of professors, a lot of Ph.D. students teach BA students. The faculty is highly educated, be it the likes of Prof. Babu Thaliath, Prof. Shambhavi Prakash, Prof. Rosy, and so on. You can check out the JNU official page for further details. Different teaching methods are used to make topics interesting and engaging, even though the exams are not monotonous, they can be written, oral, speaking, or listening. The exams are not very difficult if you've paid attention to the classes. You're expected to commit mistakes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Language and literature have always intrigued me and Jawaharlal Nehru University seemed an appropriate place to learn languages as it is credited with NA++ also u get to learn other languages other than from your main course, The teaching method is intense, and the courses are deep and requires thorough knowledge of the language we are learning, also number of exams taken in any semester is quite high which demands rigorous practice and command of the language. There are about 6 main professors assigned to a strength of 40 students in each semester along with 6 subjects. Terms exams are held quite regularly and the last two semesters have been particularly problematic because of courses like translation and literature.

From the 4th semester, it is expected to be doing internships, though basic ones because they build your confidence and help you do anything you want to. They also help you to get campus placements as you need at least one internship certificate for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Referring to the Integrated Course on Computer Science and Engineering, the student-faculty ratio demands substantial improvement. The present faculty is educated and experienced. The teaching method of the faculty might not be easy to sync with, and thus, may require attention. In the context of pursuing various exams, JNU remains the best place to carry on. Clubs are active and handled by the students, which may be a benefitting ground if you expect to learn things and join hands to pace your projects. The syllabus and course schedule is not as strict(less cumbersome) as their competing colleges. Schedule, as such, may be an issue over time as the University doesn't ask the pupils for mandatory internships post their 6th semester. The research scenario over here is in its developing phase and is growing to gain attention. For a competitive exam enthusiast, this might be a better place to pursue engineering.

Placement Experience:

Since JNU is essentially a research institute, a majority of the students here pursue higher studies in academia rather than looking out for jobs. Still, that doesn't mean absolutely zero placement interests or opportunities. One can apply through the placement cell of the university and can grab a job offering a decent package. Talking about myself, I am a UPSC aspirant and belong to the other major lot of students from JNU, apart from those who pursue academics.

Placement Experience:

As I already discussed earlier, the school of engineering is too new( established in 2018 ). Still, the placement of the first two batches is pretty good, with an average package of 8 LPA. The highest package offered was 16LPA. However, some students cracked off-campus placements too, with a CTC of 33LPA. On average, there is a 70% placement. Once you get into JNU, you can't be sure that you end up being in the corporate sector. Many students from the school of engineering are preparing for UPSC and MBA. Some opted for a language course. Yup, who knows when you'll get to know your interest. I think JNU is the best place to explore what you want to pursue.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am studying Japanese at JNU which means that after doing this course you can go to a corporate and earn money easily. If you are not good in math and you wanted to work in corporate this is the easiest way to go. This is Central University which why student-faculty ratio is quite Good it's 20 students per teacher All the professors are Highly qualified They join the instruction after passing the NET exam and they completed her/his PhD JNU follow a sessional pattern no the term exam which means that you have to give 3 sessional exams that you have to pass 2 and then END term exam JNU offers world-class student that why it is very difficult to pass the exam if you cannot study 2-5 hours daily

Placement Experience:

Placements are average. Only 50% of students are placed yet. In the third semester, companies start visiting campus. Some of the companies are OPTUM, CIENA, XCALIBERATE, and KNOLDUS. The highest package is 14.5 LPA by Optum and the average is around 6-7 LPA. One can choose Ph.D. as an option if one didn't get placed.

JNU Delhi does not offer BCA program. However, the general admission requirement for BCA courses is to pass Class XII examination with Mathematics as a subject. Admission is either merit-based or entrance-based.
