- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

- The peers are great. Seniors are very very nice. Infrastructure (except for hostels) are very good. Mess food may not be that tasty but they provide variety of food that ensures you intake good nutritions
- There is library in every hostel and also there is a central library which is fully equipped.
- Faculty is really great and they are always always ready to help you all you need to do is just ask
Dislikes
- In summers it is very hot in delhi but our hostels doesn’t have ACs which makes it unbearable
Course Curriculum Overview:
The IITs for sure have the best curriculum in India which is prepares you for the real world challenges that is why people compete for them. The exams are taken very often and its difficulty level is moderate

- The city is also very beautiful and a nice place to live in
- There is plethoraa of oppoortunities in IIT Delhi for whatever your passion is there is guidance available

- Delhi is a very polluted city and i had chest troubles in my first sem itself
- People are very competitive this sometimes creates a toxic environment
- The life is very fast paced so it can be tough to keep track of wheer you are going and also to manage certain things
Placement Experience:
Students become eligble for placements starting 7th semester.A lot of companies visit the campus to select the best oof the lot .All the students who appluy foro placements get placed however a lot oof people these days are into their own startups and stuff

- Actually almost everything is present in the campus itself we doesn't need to go out of the campus for anything, the restaurants , cafes,canteens, etc are really world class
- One thing that I loved about my college is this that the students and professors are really encouraging than other schools or colleges that really helps me a lot...they listens to u instead of laughing over your ambitions
- One of the most beautiful thing about he campus is the greenery and also about the nature of the batchmates where everyone is there to listen u and give ideas to work better in life where u can learn small small things from everyone

- Nothing till now almost everything is present in the campus.
Placement Experience:
The placement from my college are record breaking involved a highest packages of even 4 Cr....from the last second. Semester the students becomes eligible for them. Almost every letter of English alphabet with which a name of a company starts comes in my college for providing placements. The average package is of 2400000 INR as of now which will increase in future nearly 70% of students gets placed and others goes for startups , UPSC nd other things, my plans after the degree is to pursue the civil services through UPSC EXAM

- The people over here are really competitive.

- The hostels are really poor and are really underfurnished.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester. Multiple companies visit our campus like Ola, Quant, Bajaj etc. Each company makes different number of offers. The highest package last year year was 4 Crore for internation and 1 Crore for Indian role. Most of the students get campus placement. I plan to persue M. Sc. after getting my degree.

- Next is the faculties here. They are ready to help us in every kind of situation.
- The no. of extra curricular opportunities provided by the institute.

- Till now there hasn't been anything I have disliked.
Placement Experience:
Students can sit for the placements in their 4th year and apply for internship in the 3rd year. Placements are the highlights of the college. All the renowned tech and non tech companies of the world visit here during the placements.

- there is no pressure by professors that you have to attain the class at any cost. And my seniors are told that attendace is not the big issue if you have 65% attendace then it be good but some professors are strict.
- IITD have good campus life mess food is good as my friend told.IITD campus is very clean.
- you can find almost all books in iitd central library.
Dislikes
- in iitd there are most of the classes in 1st year in which professor used to teach approx 400 students at a time so it create difficulties to study for those student who sitted at back.
- sometimes timble software used for attendance not work properly. for that reason attendance remain absent instead of being present in class.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose energy engineering in iitd because it is a new course it has a lot of potentials. you can also find research opportunities in this course.40 students are there in my batch. faculty and TAs are brilliant they help every student in every aspect. most of the teachers are aged as they have a lot of experience of teaching most of the teachers still study and do research a lot. there were 1 minor and 1 major exam however some classes 2 minor and 1 major also happened but genuinely exams are not so much tough as if you study daily you can easily pass even if you can be a topper.

Placement Experience:
Students here in IIT Delhi are eligible for Intern in the 3rd year and hiring intern companies comes at the start of our 5th semester. For Placement, companies come at the end of the 7th semester. OCS handles the placement & internship drive at the campus. With over 600+ companies visiting IIT Delhi is the best college in terms of employability in India and 36th in the world.
Personally, my plan is to go into consultancy after my graduation.

Placement Experience:
The placements are done through OCS, IIT Delhi's placement cell. All the top companies including Google, Microsoft, BCG, and Optiver visited. There were 1300 Job offers and more than 260 PPOs were made to students. In all 1150 students were selected. The highest offer made was INR 4 crore by Jane Street. I plan to pursue higher studies after completing my Btech.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
