The fee structure was not very expensive . It was much feasible compared to other universities as it's a semi government university. Pocket friendly fees . There was 5 % hike in professional fees during 2019 but for infrastructure maintainence and other things. There was also scholarships for LLB students . No scholarships to science students or any student with masters degree. In our course , last month is totally dedicated to internsdhip. it is a must process for getting a degree . One of my reputed professor placed me in wetlands International South Asia , Defence colony , New Delhi with a stiped of 8000 per month and after my 6 months internship where i focused on my research and then i bagged a job in the same institution with a really amazing package.
The course curriculum covers various aspects of Environmental issue from air pollution to waste management taught by an expert faculty and hands on practical experience. The course also offers a practical field trip for all students of first year. Also there is a six month dissertation/ training period where one can explore further options of research or other profession. All the teachers were expert in their own field and just not gave any text book knowledge but also got us to know the practical side of things being taught. The batch went to trip to a waste Management Plant on a field trip to Goa, to understand their waste disposal mechanism. Also there were workshops organized to keep the student abreast with current policies eg. There was a workshop organised on Diwali about Air pollution in 2017, with chairman CPCB coming to deliver the presentation.
