I am Doing my BTech in production & industrial engineering which comes under the department of mechanical engineering. If it is very good branch if you want to work in the core field and you also get the benefits of your department

from 3rd year end or may be 4th year starting student become eligible for placement.every field companies do visit our clg and made signifacnt offers like google,amazon almost every faang .84lpa was the highest last year . around 89% was placed. i might opt job or might go for mtech aiming some good angency for reseacch purposes

Been passionate about machine learning and production field I choose my branch production and industrial engineering in dtu. There the faculties are very much qualified and experienced. Talking about the semester exams, they are quite difficult but easy to score decent marks.

Placement are great and some students i.e. that are among top 10% of the crowd get placements worth more than 50 lpa in top prodct based comapnies like google . But cgpa is important in this college because they eliminate the students that have less cgpa beacuse of high crowd in college.

In 5th semester companies for internship very few will get intern with avg 50,000 /month and in 7th semester companies come for placement, in 2023 avg package is 16 LPA and highest 82LPA by Atlassion Domestic package

Mostly every child gets placed after completing his/her degree but if not then they will get eventually placed because of the fame of DTU. there are companies like Google, Microsoft etc. highest package must be 30-40 lpa

Placements are quite good,I think from 3rd year onwards students are able to get internships and placements as well, they can easily make if they have proper skills like in coding Most of the companies visit here like Google microsoft etc

To be honest I wasn't really sure that what course should I choose but i have listened that after doing btech you can go in multiple lines that's why and also i have a kink for computers so I just went for it. I purchased an online course from an app esaral as during my 11th and 12th most things went online due to covid.Teaching faculty and staff was very good in it like speaking about the teachers they were themselves iitian and many students of theirs has made it to iits nits dtu nsut. Esaral offers personalized learning in which each student enrolled can study at their own pace any chapter or concept anytime just sitting home from the app which contained recorded lectures of all subjects.So their was nothing like batch system and each student can study individually.The teaching content was very good and included visualisation of concepts. We r given chapter wise level wise tests which we HV to give after chapter completion which were according to jee level and included pyqs

Faculty members are amazing they are very coperative . Nd intelligent in their field to. They know to manage students.. They. Are very helping and their suggested books are helpful for gate like exams to.

From the 3rd year the companies come to the university to provide internships and from the fourth year the placement start. Companies like google sprinkler approach with decent offers. The highest package goes upto 56lpa and the average is around 24lpa
