- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- Hostel have limited rooms because of which students are forced to stay outside in rents which are higher in cost. Whereas every other nit provides all the students with hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course as I am interested in this particular field of work. I think the curriculum prepares us well enough for real world applications, as for the teaching method I do believe that better faculty could be appointed and I think the timing of exams might be a bit hectic

- Placement scenarios are good for non core branches.
- The exposure we get in different clubs and committee is very good.
- Travelling network is good, railway stations are airport are close to campus.
Dislikes
- Bad infrastructure, no proper facilities inside campus.
- Insufficient accomodation for all the students.
- Too much restrictions are there related to in times for campus as well as hostel.
Placement Experience:
The highest package of core branches are around 21-30lakhs, but the highest package and median packages of non core branches lie around 65lakhs and 18lakhs respectively. The roles offered mostly are of SDE and Analyst.
More than 70% students get placed.

- Placements are good in this college if you want to go in non core and you hustle for coding then surely you will get good placements.
- The fees and accomodation cost for living in Raipur are bit less and because of low fees its comfortable to pay it.
- Fest in our college are held on a descent level

- The campus is much enjoyable with your friends.
- There are many places to visit when you get bored.
- Although faculty is not up to the mark,the placement statistics are quiet decent.

- The academics are not upto the mark .
- Infrastucture is another flaw which should be improved
- At most disliked thing is that the hostel seats are very limited .
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year.If you need any information regarding the placements you can visit the college official website,there will be a list of companies visited the college in a particular year and statistics of the placements.
The average pacakage is about 9LPa for chemical engineering.It will be differed when it comes to CSE,IT .THe highest package this year(2024) is about 53lpa .
Many of the students will get job offers during the campus itself and few people remain jobless and they get prepare for off-campus and few opt for higher studies. Almost 80-90 percent gets placed in the college itself irrespective of the branch.

campus placement of top branches that is the tech branches are pretty good IT has an average package of 18 lpa and highest of around 55 lpa whereas for cse the average dip down to 15 lpa and the highest is 62 lpa the top recruiters are DE shaw , Goldman sachs , adobe etc

- big spacious classrooms especially for the higher semester students
- cheap fees unlike other NIT's and excellent city connectivity

- Some areas are under developed and some things are not as good
- Hostels are not provided for each and every student
- night canteen are not present and in timings are also very early
Placement Experience:
placements are above average in this college. From third semester onwards only the students start getting internships and fill placements drive are also there in the fourth year which ensures a decent package according tou your branch and skills

- Things I loved the most is the environment of the college where all people are very focused on their lives to get something in your life with enthusiasm and drive towards the coal which I found myself very happy to mingle with them
- This gives you the exposure to explore yourself and standard from the regular private colleges and gains you attack of NIT which makes you special and makes Earth thinking very broad
- As people from various cities come and accommodate in this college wheat and to share different cultures and experience different type of food language and love and support
Dislikes
- The thing which are really didn't like about this college is the infrastructure of the college and the interiors of the college which are very disgusting where the tables are really not so good and this city is in the mid part of India with lies in t
- The college should provide AC rooms or well ventilated rooms has the temperature go still 40 degree celsius in the summers and low as 25 or 23 in the winters
- There are no proper stalls inside the college which makes us to go outside for kilometres with makes us very difficult to travel
Course Curriculum Overview:
As my father is a civil engineer I opted civil engineering cause as his own business so I can take over is business and continue on. As I am in first year yet I don't know about the real life or realwood application of the academic pursuits. One thing the curriculum and teaching method which could in have improved is that teachers could have been more better and would have provide more time for the exams the difficulty level of the exam s are moderate and exams are very fast and we don't have the time to cover it up

- Amazing support from seniors and an extremely amazing and large Alumini network
- Faculties are very very supportive of the students

- Raipur is a place with extreme climates . Quiet hot during Summers and cold during winters
- Hostels are almost next to none just few hundred of student's accommodation is available
- The campus is smaller than expected almost close to 100 acers and 30-50% is covered by vegetation
Placement Experience:
Not too good place but the avg placement is around 12-15. Some notable companies visiting nit raipur are Microsoft, Ambuja Cements , Infosys , TCS , GE Healthcare, ONGC ,many PSU, SAIL , etc. almost 70% of students gets placed every year. Highest package for year 2023 was 55lac. Students are eligible for placement from 3rd year. I plan to pursue further education as biomedical has almost a very substantial hike in its importance after master's degree

- There is parking issue in this college for students.

In seventh semester students are eligible for the placement.there is lot of IT company such as Google, Amazon,Adobe ,etc and many core companies visiting.
The highest package from our college is 55 lac from mining field.
There is 70 percent students are placed . I also want to get job in my respective field.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
