- Scholarship: this college have really great facility of scholarships for needy people.
- Faculty to student ratio is great and small strength class provide a great personalized experience and teaching to students .

- I think that they lag in their way of teaching.
- Hostel condition especially for the first year hostel which is provided that is shivalik hostel is worst

- I liked it's quick admission process at the time of arrival.
- The college Environment is so pleasing, calm, and friendly .
- There is no ragging policy which is one of the best things of our college.
Dislikes
- Some of the mess food of our some hostels are not good.
- Attendance policy is 75% which need to be reduced.
- Strict order delivery policy in hostels is something that i don't like .
Placement Experience:
For 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements
60% of students are placed.
I am placed in college duniya .
In my college the highest package is 50 lakhs and average is 10 lakh.
After degree i am planning to join corporate and get experinece in company.

- Strong alumni network for our branch and other branches
Dislikes
- Bad and poor infrastructure compared to the fees
- Some teachers are very bad in teaching in 1st year
- Too less focus on core subjects and research
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

- i really liked the course curriculum which will be starting from the second year .
- faculty is really helpful and each one them holds an expertise in their own core fields .
- i really love how the placements are going on currently especially in CSE branch . they are even better than many NIT'S
Dislikes
- infrastructure and labs of this college is poor because of old college . it is 100 year old college .
- subjects in first year disappoint me as being this much reputed college , teaching ED , environmental science etc makes no sense .
- they can really improve the campus by establishing modern technology in labs and improving the infrastructure .
Placement Experience:
college offers on campus placements from 4th year of the course . main companies are : Bains , JP Morgan , MaKinzey , PhonePe , Amazon , Apple visits here . highest and average package are around 60 lakh and 17 lakh respectively . 90 % students got placements this year .

- The campus infrastructure is nice and there are lots of trees and greenery which i truly appreciate
- It provides lots of internships and placements opportunities as well as other societies are their that help in overall development
- There curriculum is up to date and new technologies are being used in order to level up the quality of education
Dislikes
- Too many exams and quizzes which sometimes creates fuzz and might not option for all
- Only people who have given jee can apply, so it's not open opportunity for everyone
- The girl to boy ratio is very high but it might not be a problem unless boys make it a huge issue calling out like it's girls quota

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.

Placements in our college is a decent one but it has also degraded over the time and also the good companies like Google , microsoft , many companies come to the college and this is what makes the average high for this college

- I liked the greenery in the campus. Everywhere you can see the plants and trees. You can feel the fresh air in the campus.
- PEC Market is a market in our campus, where you can find shops related to everything you needs in college life. There are some stationary shops, eating shops ( fast food and all ), barber, bank and ATM too. A dispensary is also there in the market.
- PEC has very good and experienced staff. Even some has written books on their subject. Each classroom has 3 projectors and professors uses it in a beneficial way.
Dislikes
- I am disappointed with the hostel, I'm in first year and my hostel is old. Rooms are not in good condition and mess food is not very well. Washrooms are not well maintained.
- College infrastructure is not very good. As PEC is more then 100 years old so infrastructure looks very old. During labs many experiment kits doesn't work. But renovation has started and I think it would be much more better in upcoming years.
- I'm a first year student and I can say that classes schedule is very hectic. Some days you have classes at 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour break. It is very hectic for a student to attend and stay active in all the classes.
Placement Experience:
Placements of PEC are very good. It beats many top tiers engineering colleges of India in terms of placement. From 7th semester you can sit for placement. Companies starts visiting your college in 7th semester. You can also get a internship offer in 5th semester as many companies visits the college for interens. Many companies visited PEC in 2023 and made nearly 518 offers which was the highest no of offers made in the last 5 years. Highest package of 2023 was 83 lacks and average package was 16.71 lacks. Different companies gives different salary and package. Around 70-75% of students get placed every year, this data could vary year to year. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job.
