- The placement is the best thing about this college .many good companies come and make good offer
- Many teachers are exceptionally good in their field.the faculity to student ratio is 1:77 approx, all faculty have done their mtech and phd from reputed university like iitkgp,nit rourkela,iit bombay etc.
- Hostel are very huge and best thing about the college is its hostel
Dislikes
- Recently placement is not very good in our campus especially for my department (etc).average package is only 9 lpa plus no good or reputated companies are coming here for recruitment.campus also doesnt help in obtaing any internships
- I think some faculties lack quality. for the amount of institution fee it feels like a risk.
- The no of reputed companies coming here for job offers and internships is declining with a very fast rate.

- The food , and teachers are not that good except the BME and Iprog teacher
- There is much importance given to the academics
- The campus area is very small and covered by forest.
Placement Experience:
In the second semester students become eligible in the campus elements and the companies like amazon micrososft dell oracle and many other good companies visit the college almost 70% students get the placement

- The culture of the college and seniors relationship
- The fests, events, cultural performances is just a everyday thing.
- The campus is in Bhubaneswar city so you receive city amenities.
Dislikes
- It is far from the main city so travel is little bit difficult.
- Campus area is small and there are no night canteens.
- The classrooms and hostels are not air conditioned.
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent as compared to other IIITs. Highest was 88LPA off campus and 39LPA on campus for CSE. Average is 13LPA for CSE. Many companies visit the college including Oracle, Media.net, VISA.

- I like to play football as it got me hooked to sports from childhood
- I also like Playing online games , mostly multiplayer and I also like to complete in tournaments
- I like learning funs stuff where I can express a lot of my imaginations
Dislikes
- People who are very stubborn and always try to meddle in your matters and those who try to always showoff
- Not being able to do something which should be easily done by me .
Placement Experience:
The placements of my College is quite good up till now and almost 90% students gets placed . But there is declined in the number of students appearing for placements as famous companies do not come to this college , a very few handful of them will only come to take a small portion of students. I plan to pursue freelancing and start early and investing and stocks marketing as I have a lot of interest in that.

- There is less competition compared to other IITs and NITs . Faculties are also really good at teaching and really help us in exam times by providing notes and practice questions.
- Campus is small so we can go to classes in less than 4 minutes.
- Seniors are really helpful and friendly and guide us very well.
Dislikes
- There is no food restaurants near our institute.
- Very large usable area still left but has not been touched.
- Roads need some improvement inside and outside of the college.
Placement Experience:
From 4th semester students become eligible for applying for internship and from 6th semester students become eligible for applying for job interviews. Many renowned companies such as DELL,ORACLE, WIPRO and many others come to our college. In CSE,CE and IT branch 90-95% students get placement offers.

- Great campus life, peace and calm environment, far from the city.
- Very cooperative faculty as well as seniors.
- Very beautiful buildings with very beautiful colour combination.
Dislikes
- Small campus very limited thing to explore.
- Mess food is quite unhealthy. And in rainy season there is water and water very low water handling capacity.
- Examination are very strict. There is no easy question. All are conceptual.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Here faculty members are quite cooperative they design their own curriculum beyond academic they also motivate students to participate in extra curricular activities. The faculty student ratio is 1:10(approx).Here there are two quizes one before mid-sem another is after mid-sem is taken. And two main exams I. e mid-sem(30marks) and end-sem(50 marks) will be taken. All faculties are from IITs and IISCs and all have done their pHD. SO MY EXPERIENCE IS QUITE GOOD.

- Campus is well maintained.Hostel facilities are very very nice as compared to other colleges.
- Bathrooms are well maintained especially it get's cleaned twice in a day.
Dislikes
- Placements is not so good in core branches.
- We have an in time of 9.30. We have to reach campus before time after that the guard write the names of students and call their parents
Placement Experience:
The placement of last year was nice.It was approx 18lpa for CSE branch for IT branch it was approx 19lpa and for ETC and EEE Branch is was 13 lpa and 11 lpa.From 3rd year students are eligible for internships programs.Many renowned companies such as Dell,Oracle, Adobe visited here for placements.The highest package offered this year was from oracle which was 86lpa and the avg package this year was 12lpa .Here the placement percrntage is approx 86%.

- small campus , not much to explore in college
- Some faculty members can be rude to students
- Limited shops are there , Medical shops are 1-2 km away from the campus

Placements is one major factor one should consider taking this coarse in iiit bbsr. cse average is 13 lpa in 2023 and 12 including other tech branches with over 90% placements . Core branches have around 70% placement with 8-9 lpa average. Highest package in 2023 was 39 lpa by media.net.

- Cleanliness in the college. The college is very clean.
- Enthusiasm of seniors to uplift this college ranking.This thing I like very much
- Supportive seniors. Seniors also give their notes and past year papers

- Location of this college is not so good. The college is 15km away from main city
- Mess food are not so good. You are taking 720/week,atleast make good food
- There is only one shop in the college and the shopkeeper is also very rude
Placement Experience:
College placement is good( but not for etc and ee students) The average placement of this college is 12 lakhs. The companies visited here are zerodha, oracle, median et, etc. The highest placement of the college is 39 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement are 92%.

Placement Experience:
Campus placements begin as soon as you enter your second last semester. In 2023 companies like media.net , oracle , Dell etc came for campus placements. Highest package offered was 39 lpa and average for cse was over 13 lpa. Overall average was 10 lpa. cse, ce ,it has over 90% placements while etc and eee have around 70 to 75% only . I'm planning to sit for placements

- There are a lot of opportunities from the societies of this college.
- Annual fest is the biggest in Odisha and is improving each year.
- Off campus placements are quite high and the push for higher studies from faculty.
Dislikes
- Campus size is very disappointing and the amenities inside it.
- Senior hierarchy is very strict like a feudal system.
- Faculty accent and attendance makes it worse.
Placement Experience:
This year, the highest placement was 26 LPA from CE regarding On campus. But since the last semester is still not done, it will change. Above 90 per cent of students get placed from CSE, IT, and CE, but the number drops around 50 for EEE and ETC. I plan to opt for Masters and PHd. due to my personal decisions.
