Firstly the college is very lively. It always has some or the other thing going on.
The atmosphere is very safe and there is nothing like ragging or bad peer pressure.
The clubs and the events are to die for. They make the enviornment more happening.
Dislikes
The food on campus can be costly at times.
The fees are a little high than the rest of the colleges.
As it's a deemed university, the college exams and holiday schedule does not match with the government.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placement from the 3rd year second semester itself. Students can do part time jobs and internship during this time.
The college offers 100% placement and also encourages student for startups. College also offers funding for these startups and connect the students to the Alumini of the college for further guidance.
The highest package for the entire Engineering Department was 41 LPA in 2023 placement drive. For mechanical it was 17LPA.
I am planning to work for 2 yrs before pursuing for MBA.
Professors who are approachable, knowledgeable and invested in students growth
Variety of students club and organisation that cater to diverse interests
Comfortable living arrangements in dormitories and acccesible recreation facilities
Dislikes
Limited elective choices or inflexible course structure
Lack of responsiveness to students concern or feedback
Limited access to quality internships and job opportunities
Course Curriculum Overview:
I would rate the curriculum as 7/10
Reason for choosing course is opportunities for hands on learning through lab sessions
Research projects ans capstone achievement
Weekely quizes and assignments
Provide sample papers and more detailed exam guidelines
I have like the faculty of the University they were so professional and they help us to grow v fast and they don’t compare us with the other good batches and they are very friendly
The college has many other facilities and programs which they makes us to participate and from that we learn more things other than the engineering which makes as smooth in the life they have programs like ride and all which they bring successful ent
The college provides us three trips in the four years one is rural which help us in community and second one is national which give as a training program in the known factory and the last one is international which help us to understand how they work
Dislikes
They are not more in the practical which makes us difficult to understand
They are strict for attendance so we can’t do part time work for self earning
They provide soo much of assignment while writing of our assignments we can’t study our own things
Placement Experience:
After sixth semester we are eligible for the placement

Few labs need new equipments for practical
Placement Experience:
Before the recession hit the Indian market placement were really good.
Mass hiring form TCS capgemini delliote infosys.
And MNCs like BMC, ZS, Mahindra, Samsung, Cisco core and IT both companies hier from here after recession situations if different miss hiring is stopped.
The campus is much bigger than one imagines. I daily walk around 4-5 kms within the campus. I'd say it's pretty big
The faculty is very helpful. The teachers help you out quite a lot, do a one on one for you if you ask them, and they're very supportive
The quality of people is much better than the rest of the colleges in Pune. During recess, the entire college is near the food stalls eating food and chilling, which makes it a good space for socialising and everyone's go to spot to meet new people
Dislikes
Wayy too crowded. There are wayyy too many people in the college. During recess, it feels like the entire college is out to grab a bite and there has been so many times I've skipped food cuz of the crowd
The college is pretty 'drug friendly' I'd say. I mean yea, the police do a lot of checking and a lotta things happen, but I'd strongly suggest you to choose your peers wisely
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from the third year. Highest package this year was a 52 lpa from mercedes benz. The lowest is around 3-4 lpa which is given by all mass recruitment companies like Wipro, TCS, infosys. Mid packages are mostly taken by companies like Eicher, tata, Ashoka Leyland, and John deere. Oil companies like ongc and other Indian oil companies also hire mechanical graduates. Mechanical students also get access to placement in various IT sector jobs too. Around 70% students get placed. Reason for the 70% is because the remaining 30 opt for higher studies.
There are lot of clubs which participates in national level competitions and that gives student experience of working in industry and practical knowledge.
Faculties are supportive towards publishing your own research papers and different ideas.
Campus has students from many parts of India which gives a nice environment for students.
Dislikes
There are many fests but not good as expected
Girls to boys ratio in branch like mechanical and civil is not good
Attendance policy is unnecessarily strict. It have 80% attendance.
Placement Experience:
At the 3rd year students become eligible for placements and internships, placement is decent however last year average package in btech has been dropped as i think it's because of more no. Of students intake in btech cse over last few years. My plan is to do masters after btech so I won't chose for placements
