- Faculties are supportive towards publishing your own research papers and different ideas.
- Campus has students from many parts of India which gives a nice environment for students.
Dislikes
- There are many fests but not good as expected
- Girls to boys ratio in branch like mechanical and civil is not good
- Attendance policy is unnecessarily strict. It have 80% attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good as it is based on NEP as i chose mechanical because I really liked college's labs but i don't think it exactly train you for real world so we choose to participate in mechanical clubs. Exam is moderately difficult and held main semester exam takes place after every 5 months.
Placement Experience
At the 3rd year students become eligible for placements and internships, placement is decent however last year average package in btech has been dropped as i think it's because of more no. Of students intake in btech cse over last few years. My plan is to do masters after btech so I won't chose for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
1st year fees is 3.15 lacs and 3.5 lacs for next 3 years the college also provides scholarships for students who have good percentile in jee and mhtcet depending upon different branches, for eg:- my friend got 97 percentile in mhtcet so he got 100% scholarship in MIT for mechanical
Campus Life
There are few fests like SLDP for first year students RIDE for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students and aarohan for every year students. There are lot of clubs activities like sports, engineering, volunteering in fests and events, acting, dancing, singing, etc. a huge building for sports is also in progress for students
Admission
I was not getting mechanical in MIT manipal which is was opting for as I wanted to do mechanical but i got admission into colleges like MU jaipur, pdeu, vit andhra pradesh but as this college was near my hometown and has better reputation so I decided to chose this college.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is not bad, about my faculties they are friendly for eg:- my class teacher is friendly and encourage us to learn any extracurricular skill. There are mid term exams and then final semester exam in every semester. In subjects like maths, many students fail. Curriculum is made on NEP so it is relevant but we have subject like peace and yoga too which I don't think is relevant.
