Likes
- Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
- TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
- Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
- Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
- Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees comes upto approximately ?60,000 as it varies every year. This fees is without considering any of the scholarship. However the total fees that I've paid for the entirety of this course comes upto ?2,52,634. I don't really have an idea so as to how much fees the others were paying.
Campus Life
We have 2 college fests every year namely, Rhythm (April) and TECHITHON (October) both are good in their own ways. The cultural fest, Rhythm has more events to offer which are fun to participate in where as the tech fest, TECHITHON introduces individuals to new innovations and new products related to tech.
Admission
The thing is my parents had me enrol in this college because they didn't want to wait for the CET's 2nd round allotment of colleges that i could've gotten. They thought that the college would run out of seats for the course that I wanted to enrol in. So just to be safe I got admission in this college.
Faculty
Faculty to Student ratio is of about 1:30. The faculty are approachable and friendly. They'll be sure to help you out if you ask them your doubts. The HOD of my department is surprisingly super friendly but also makes sure that no one takes advantage of her kindness. The exams so far have been super easy as I've been grinding and studying for them. It's easy to clear all the exams if you just study properly and refer PYQ's.
Night Life
There's no such thing as nightlife in or around this college. There's nothing to do at night. The canteen is terrible and so is their food. You need to pay a gym membership fee despite paying your yearly course fees. In the library girls and boys cannot sit together and nobody knows why. Public areas dont exist as the watchmen just kick you out if you're seen hanging around in the so called public areas.
