MITWPU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

there placements in my dept over 70% studnts placed and rest left for higher studeis or gotlaced off campus compianis offer avaerage 5 to 7 lpa and highest offer is 22 lpa my plan are to make sure to creak gate and secuire job in psus

There are very good placements in our college. Mostly 99% of the students are placed from our to Multi-National Companies. The highest package is 44 lakhs rupees and that's the best. I'm too sitting for placement

After 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placements many multinational companies visit the college the highest package to date is 22 lakhs per annum and the average package is of 7lakhs per annum. 100 percent placement ratio is there. I plan on going for postgraduation after completing my degree.

Students can apply for placements from the 6th semester. Various companies come for hiring the students like core company Honeywell it companies like TCS, cognizant, etc. 86%of the students get placed every year with an average package of 7 lpa highest package of 15 LPA.

I have chosen B.Tech in Chemical engineering because I was interested in chemistry. The faculty at our college are very helpful and they provide all the academic support the students need. The student-to-teacher ratio is 50:10. The faculties at MITWPU have quite qualified almost many teachers are PHD-Qualified and most of the teachers at MITWPU are working on many international and local projects. Exams at MITWPU are conducted quite strictly where in one class one supervisor is allotted. Exams here at MIT Wpu are conducted every week so that to check whether students are doing a study or not. Here at MIT Wu, we have a tri-Sem pattern. Every sem is of 3-4 months and after completion of every sem one sem end exam is conducted if students have any backlog sub it is clear after the end of the year

Students can be eligible to get placed by the 7th sem of the academics. there have been more than 20 companies visited for chemical engineers. the top company to pay was BYJU's which paid 10 lakhs per annum which is the highest package for chemical engineers.

The most important factor was that it was in my home town.Even though i live in hostel it was nice to know that my family was just around.The chemical engineering branch of mitwpu is known to be really good. Apart from that, the relaxed rules for girls were also really nice and is not that strict as compared to some other institutes.

All in all - the college is great. The 4 years that I Was there were most cherished and loved.

If anyone is interested in curriculum and extra curricular activities i will suggest this college. However if interested in sports, please dont opt.

Overall I would say it is a decent college for one who wants to study in Pune and a no brainer for someone who wants to pursue Chemical Engineering. Being autonomous the college provides platform for student to grow in his interested field. If there is any drawback it is only due to the location of college which is a bit far from the central city. It takes 25-30 mins to reach the city, otherwise it is a decent college.
