Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to undertake core research in chemicals so I undertook this course. The faculty-student ratio is quite well. 60 students per 2 faculty so the faculty can give proper attention and help students overtake their challenges. The faculty is qualified well enough and the teaching method is excellent. Term exams are timely and they are tough to pass so hard work is needed.
Internships Opportunities
The companies visited are tata steel, praj , reliance, and many more which provide internships based on skill level and understanding of that particular subject of every individual so giving an approximate amount is not possible.
Placement Experience
After 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placements many multinational companies visit the college the highest package to date is 22 lakhs per annum and the average package is of 7lakhs per annum. 100 percent placement ratio is there. I plan on going for postgraduation after completing my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is quite a big amount 3.10 lakhs per year but there is provision for scholarships on the bases of the jee or cet score through which admission is taken if the student takes admission through the peracet exam or mitwpu exam then there is no provision for scholarships sadly.
Campus Life
The annual tech fest is Arohan conducted in May mostly and the fest is RIDE conducted mostly in September. There is a well-maintained library on the campus 4 floors all kinds of books and magazines are available there The amenities in the classroom are of normal standard but there are smart boards instead of blackboards so the faculty can show ppts or adequate videos for the subject while writing on them. There is a big sports department and also sports fests are conducted yearly to which many colleges are invited. There are more than 40 different technical and non-technical clubs run by students.
Admission
The admission process was quite simple. Yes, I had undertaken the percent exam by which I got admission to the course I wanted the exam was quite a tough cutoff for chemical engineering was 120 out of 200. The application form is available on the website of the college and all details are mentioned there itself. No improvement is needed in the admission process it is very good and prompt.
