SSIT Faculty

The college is recognized for its dedicated and experienced faculty, with a mix of well-qualified lecturers holding M.Tech, MCA, and Ph.D. degrees. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 8:60, ensuring personalized attention. Faculty members are approachable, supportive, and committed to student development, offering extra classes and counseling for student improvement. While the Electronics and Communication Engineering department is particularly noted for its well-educated and supportive staff, some challenges remain in other departments, like ISE, where faculty performance varies.

The college offers a comprehensive educational experience, with assignments, surprise tests, and practical exposure through good laboratory facilities. Despite the overall positive feedback, there are instances of perceived incompetence in certain subjects and particularities faced by non-regional students. The college promotes interdisciplinary learning by requiring students to take open elective subjects every year, and the faculty actively encourages project-based learning.
