What is STEP at Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology?

STEP stands for Science and Technological Entrepreneurship Park. The main objective of the center is to promote Entrepreneurship among graduates. The achievements include a biomass stove that could cook 1 kg of rice in 20 minutes by using only 100 grams of wooden morsels, the milking machine that can milk 20 liters of milk in 5 minutes without any discomfort either to the animal or the man, etc.

SSIT MCA is offered as 2 Years Full Time program, with total intake of 60 seats. The minimum eligibility criteria for MCA is Graduation with 50%. The total fees for SSIT MCA in 2024 is ₹ 4 Lakhs for the complete course duration, which includes total tuition fees of ₹ 4 Lakhs. Earlier, the fees in 2023 - 2024 for MCA was ₹ 1.28 Lakhs.

Course Description

Master of Computer Application (MCA) is a three year master degree course in computer applications. Any graduate student who has passed or appearing in final year exam is eligible for MCA course. BCA qualified students more preferably opt for this course. MCA is considered equivalent to engineering. MCA graduates are same as software engineers. MCA course is very popular after Computer Science in engineering. There are about 80000 seats available in about 1500 colleges offering MCA course across India.
