Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT) is located in Tumkur Karnataka. The college has been accredited with an ‘A+’ Grade by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC).

The Institute offers 12 programs in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and 9 Postgraduate programs. SSIT B.E/ B.Tech Admission 2024

SSIT B.E/ B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std/equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics.
In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka SC/ST and other backward classes (Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for eligibility will be 40% in aggregate in optional subjects in qualifying examination.

Selection Criteria

Selection for BE /B.Tech will be done on the basis of UGET / KCET Entrance test.

SSIT M.E/M.Tech Admission 2024

The college provides M.Tech Degree under 7 specializations of 2 years. The details of which are given as below:

Visit the official website and click on ‘Login COMEDK UGET Application’. Complete the registration process.
With the emailed username and password, log in and fill the application form.
Upload the required documents.
Select the preferred test centre.
Pay the application fee.
Submit the form.

The steps to apply for PGCET are:

Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET and complete the registration process.
Login into the account using the credentials provided and fill in the application form.
Upload the required documents.
Accept the declaration and submit the form.
Pay the application fee of INR 650.

Admission:

I opted for siddaganga institute of technology in Tumkur and other 1 is channabasaveshwara institute of technology and sri Siddhartha Institute of technology Tumkur. Since my kcet ranking in not so good that's why I got selected to SSIT. Admission process in my college: they receive all our sslc and puc Marks cards. They fill the form they provided.

The honest review about SSIT.

Admission:

I took admission through Management Quota. The eligibility criteria were 60% and above for the course, The application form will be provided in the admission cell in the admin block and there will be no application fees. I have not availed of any reservation benefits as I'm from the General category but there are more benefits available for the other category students who can avail reservation benefits. My admission process was overall smooth and I didn't face any problems during my admission so I don't guess any improvements I want to see in the Admission process.
