What is STEP at Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology?

STEP stands for Science and Technological Entrepreneurship Park. The main objective of the center is to promote Entrepreneurship among graduates. The achievements include a biomass stove that could cook 1 kg of rice in 20 minutes by using only 100 grams of wooden morsels, the milking machine that can milk 20 liters of milk in 5 minutes without any discomfort either to the animal or the man, etc.

Campus envirornment is good and also better library.
engagement with friends and others helps to keep happy.50:50 of girls boys ratio.
good infrastructure with required devices.

Dislikes

Some teachers are good and some are too bad at teaching.
No upto the mark placement support we expected.
Less response to students queries and complaints.

Admission:

I applied for University of vishweshwarayya collage of engineering bengaluru for electrical and electronics engineering .But my CET ranks not above the cutoff marks hence i joined this collage. Admission process is simple as other collages. and experience is good.

Our college is filled with greenary so that I would have liked much
Boys to girls ratio is more than 1000 in our college
Our lectures are very good in teaching and also they support for other activities too

Dislikes

That much of strength is not required according to me
They will give more holidays after the sem exam
Transport facilities are not much as we expected before

My father suggest this as he choose this as very good college and campus also such a good and the greenary also very so when we entered to the college we feel such a blessed to join this college it was good

First thing i like in my college is the environment.
Second thing i like the most in my college is library.
Third thing i like the most in my college is teaching.

Dislikes

1st thing i dislike in my college is the placement, they not provide more oppertunities during academics.
2nd thing i dislike in my college is someone's teaching.
3rd thing i dislike in my college is infrastructure.

Admission:

I opted for siddaganga institute of technology in Tumkur and other 1 is channabasaveshwara institute of technology and sri Siddhartha Institute of technology Tumkur. Since my kcet ranking in not so good that's why I got selected to SSIT. Admission process in my college: they receive all our sslc and puc Marks cards. They fill the form they provided.

It’s good atmosphere campus and it’s well maintained campus
The college is popular in that area and transit facilities are available
College students are good and lectures will teach good

That the college fees is more and exam fees is more
They will not allow us to pay the college fees in instalment
College get less placements with compare to other college

The things i liked in my college is the atmosphere of college and library is good
And faculty and other lectures are quite good
Its good because it's near the Bengaluru City

Dislikes

It's a deemed college and all rules will on there side
They won't do so many events 3 to 4 in a semester
Some of the faculty is very irresponsible because some topics they won't tech which comes to exam

Admission:

Because i had no other options in this karnataka state 3 biomedical Engineering college are there so i have no other options for choosing ssit in comd k i have no idea but in cet u need 50k ranking thats it

Eligibility to the courses through the entrance exams like kcet and Jee the application form and the fees is quite user friendly they can easily make the admission process and reservation also provided for the categories like SC ST and backward departments backward classes.

Good Play ground and library have all the books which are helpful to study

Dislikes

Boys hostel is good but there washroom are not good I have seen
Class room benchs are not clean that are filling with dust

My admission process is management because my CET ranking is more than 1 lakh so I admission in management quota I issued the documents like author Xerox, passbook Xerox, SSLC and puc marks card. eligibility of the courses to be above 60%

Our college environment is good and we have bins en every road and the garden of our college is so neat
I like our library it's a huge globe like structure,our library consists of huge collection of books

There are not many things that I dislike in my college I like the way it is

So i went into the college through common entrance test (kcet) ,I applied to the kcet exams like other students through online website of kea board,as I remember there is a fee of 600 I guess so for applying to kcet exams and the application process started after the board exams of pu.....

Likes

The clubs, Infrastructure, cafe, canteen, parking lot, Library, Extra curricular activities, Cultural teams, The main thing i likes is the college fests.
College fest is the best thing I loved about SSIT
Technical fest of SSIT which is a huge and knowledgeable

Dislikes

The 85% attendance criteria which is hard to maintain

Admission:

I took admission through Management Quota. The eligibility criteria were 60% and above for the course, The application form will be provided in the admission cell in the admin block and there will be no application fees. I have not availed of any reservation benefits as I'm from the General category but there are more benefits available for the other category students who can avail reservation benefits. My admission process was overall smooth and I didn't face any problems during my admission so I don't guess any improvements I want to see in the Admission process.
