About Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology
Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET), Tumkur was established in 2002 under Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust by the founder trustee Dr. M.R. Hulinaykar. The Institute offers seven undergraduate courses and six post graduate courses with an annual intake of 690 students.

Which the other methods college did you apply you got confirmation the admission get a rejected in the CUET exams because my pripretion is not good because my board peformens is very bad my college iligblity isonly 12th pass.

- There is no sports facility like kits and accessories.
- The washroom is little bit unhygienic and smelly.

I have applied for many colleges like R V college , Reva college and many others i got seat in basaveshwar college of engineering bagalkot i choosed this college because its quite near to banglore and the college ambience was good, no rejection i got but i wantedly choosed this college, the admission process is simple there will be a test in which one can win upto 4 lakh scholarship throughout the degree.

- Faculties are good. They'll help you in solving all the doubts regarding your syllabus.
- Campus is greenary. Campus also includedes hospital.
- Good education and lab facilities are also provided
Dislikes
- Number of system in laboratory is less or not working properly
- Wifi facilities need to improve and network rate is slow
- Need of new phd faculties to the college

I firstly applied for SDM college in Dharwad as it was near to my hometown and is one of the best colleges out there. Due to my CET ranking i couldn't able to get admission there. So during mock allotment of CET i got to know about this college and got admitted here

- Social interaction - Overall the social interaction is really good,and the environment is good for social interaction.
- Mentorship - Mentors are really good and they are really helpful,if you have any issues they are available for your guidance.
- Support - Faculties are supportive and they are helpful if you have any doubt or problems. If you have some issues they will understand and help you.
Dislikes
- Placement - As a teir 3 college placements are not upto the mark. So it is one of the main issue.
- Infrastructure - Infrastructure is good but not that great,it is improving but it needs to be more better.
- Course - Sometimes you have to study some of the courses which are not important in your branch of studies.
Admission:
The admission process is quite simple,as you have pass your intermediate exams or if you are doing diploma,you must have to pass those exams,for direct admission in this college. But there are also state based exam known as cet for admission of state students,and for outside of the state comedk exam is there. If you get cut off rank you can get admission in this college,for cet you need around 4000 rank to get admitted in this college. You can find application form from college website or you can directly come to the college and get admission. Also if you give entrance exams like cet or comedk you can choose this college based on your rank,and afterwards you have to come to college for further admission process. Exams frequency varies from time to time ,as the duration of each semester is different,if semester duration is less then the exams frequency are high , overall examination level is between easy and medium. Semester duration must be fix and overall fees can be little bit less.

The first thing eligibility of the course was students want to pass in 12th or 2 puc, they would come under management or government quota, I have found application form through college only, as compared to me my college was good placements are somewhat good.

Actually, I got admission through DCET as a lateral entry for engineering 2nd year, when I was searching for the best college around 3 to 4 hrs of the journey from my native HASSAN I found this college in Tumkur. The process was easy and they just ask to meet the management and can discuss the doubts and can get clear.

I had applied to other colleges like MIT, SIT, SSIT, CIT, AIT etc. I got a seat in Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology from the CET quota. CET is Karnataka's entrance test for engineering and many other courses which is done after the 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview:
It's good,the exam structure is as per vishweshwarayya technological University scheme. So it is comparitively bad as unwanted stuffs are dumped into the syllabus by them. .
