Course Curriculum Overview

3

The Syllabus is old and it can't prepare for the real world now. It has become to old as per todays changing environment. The exams are generally in Dec for Odd Semester and in May for Even Semester. The decision i made to choose this course was it is most popular for commerce students.

Placement Experience

4

The placement occurs in the college in the third year and major companies in the field of commerce (i.e, KPMG, Deloitte) comes to get fresh talent. The average package offered is around 900000 rupees and highest as mush i know was 36 lakhs last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not clear about the fee structure of the college and whether it provides any benefit to the category holders. The annual fees for the first year B.COM H is ?32500. There is a fee consession round every year in which college provides consession based on annual family income.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is somewhat interesting and fent happens every year in the month of Febuary and in the month of Febuary Khelo Hansraj happens in which inter department sports competition happens and there is many societies based on interest we can join them.

Admission

The admission process for Hans Raj College is through CUET and DU CSAS in which whole DU takes part so there is no other process to apply to other colleges but my preference sheet looks like SRCC, Hindu, HRC, KMC, Venky, Ramjas and so on till 47 and i was alloted HRC so basically all colleges behind HRC were confirmed for admission.

Faculty

4

1. I am not sure about the faculty to student ratio. But the behavior of the faculty towards the students have be so good. 2. Bharat Bhushan Sir, Sonal Sharma Ma'am, Reetika Jain Ma'am 3. There is no such Professor as of now. 4. The difficulty level of DU exams is easy and easy to clear if you prepare for 15-20 days.

Night Life

5

The night life around the north campus (i.e, Kamla Nagar) is full of students and PG which has attracted lots of Cafes and Food Outlets which opens around the whole night. There are many gyms nearby (i.e, Global Fitness, Anytime Fitness, TIme to Fitness, Amogha Fitness).

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is pretty expanded than before and the syllabus is very long and tough and sometimes it's difficult to complete in one semester and practical part of my course is also less and i think they should more practical and less theory exams in my course and sometimes the the syllabus of my course is very long in some semester so we face difficulty to complete the syllabus and didn't able to focus on practical par and there is very less practical part in my course and more theory so i think they have to focus more on practicals part and less theory and computer Lab in my college is also very less and some computer is not working and the students in class is many and the teacher is one so sometimes it's difficult to understand in computer with many students and i think they should put projector in class for better understanding and the theory exam in my course is also very lengthy and they give less time so it's difficult to complete on time and the marking scheme is also not appropriate

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would straightly rate the faculty of Arts as 3.5- 4. The curriculum provided is overall a little tough as the main disciplines of mine are theory based and need to have a full attention wen having exams. There's a lack of discipline in my college for teaching sometimes. The proffessor sometimes forget to inform abt the class and therefore the time gets wasted for the students like me who came from a farway. The frequency and timming of exams is overall average, the shift timing is also acceptable for me.

the curriuclum is very relevant as whatever needed is being studied i am actually getting a good hands on with the whole syllabus. not at all confusing . it also applies to the real world solutions so yes very helfpul. improvements could be in the form of some time becasue although its interesting it is also very limited ime to cover a lot of things so yes lessen the amount of syllabus or give us more time to complete would be appreciated. freuqency and timings of exams are good just too early yes.

What are other subject like r additional subject which is SEC, VAC and AECC those are very real applicable. There should be new teachers in the faculty with a good mind set and new mind set.
