Course Curriculum Overview

3

I feel like the courses and curriculum can be updated according to present job market but overall it is necessary to study. It has some real preparedness to the real world and it does teach a lot of lessons which are important.

Internships Opportunities

2

I am not qualified enough to answer this question but our placement cell does give opportunities for internships for companies such as NAMO political consulting and others. At other times one has to look for internships themselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

the year wise fees is 15000 approx at the time of admission and there is scholarship available on the basis of need, the college is very affordable and attracts students from all backgrounda. there are no hidden fees and the tuition fees is affordable.

Campus Life

5

The overall campus life in miranda house is extremely fun and happening. There are different societies from every background you can ever imagine. Performing arts to fine arts to sciences and humanities as well as animals and debating and if you want you can start a new society if you want as well.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is really good except there is no acs in the summer months and that can be a tough thing to deal with. Mess food is as edible as mess food can be. Hostel admission is completely based on merit so that is difficult.

Admission

i chose miranda house because firstly the ranking of this college for my course specifically is insanely goood. Secondly i had also gotten into st xaviers kolkata for political science honours but i did not want to stay in kolkata so i left my hometown and came to a new city and the admission was through cuet examination whicch was pretty easy to crack and i scored 800/800 in the 2024 exam.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is good enough for a government college. the faculty is well equipped with the course and few of them take classes seriously and aim to finish our syllabus. pushpa singh ma'am, skylab sahoo ma'am, mishail ma'am, ritika ma'am are few of the faculties i really admire.

Night Life

5

Life in campus is very happening in itself, there are events organised all througout the year, especially in the hostel. There is no curfew and hence a great amount of freedom. PAM cafe and millets are must trys in the campus and kamla nagar has amazing rolls and vijayanagar has all the cafes you can ever imagine.

Honestly, i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensive. At first I wanted B. Com but then one of my Aunt inspired me to take Economics hons instead . It provides a solid foundation for practical applications by blending the theoretical concepts for the real world applications

The course curriculum is very good. They cover very slow in start and later 3 chapters per week which is not a big deal. The syllabus and other optionals are also well designed. Every month's we've sessional or some exams.

Placement Experience:

Only Final year students are eligible for the placement in our college. I don't have much information about companies and no of offers. On an average placement is approx 5-6 lpa and 12 lpa. Approx 40-50 percent students get their placement. I want to pursue masters degree after that.

The best college, best decision to join Pearl. Can't thank enough my parents for being able to afford me to send to pearl. My experience here has been so amazing, so fruitful that I don't have right words to describe that. Also however much I say would be really less.
