College life - DAULAT RAM COLLEGE

I really don't like the curriculum , the syllabus should be updated as per real life situations . And I feel like more no. Of lectures should be alloted to understand the concepts really better . There should be some real life based and AI in the syllabus

I am currently enrolled in BA Hons Economics course , my yearly fees is 32100 ( obc category) . I think the fees for all categories are kind of similar. I have heard from seniors that in next year the fees decrease. I don't have any practical subject, so I don't have to pay any lab fees . But be have to pay examination fees 2 times a year , this semester I paid 1210 fees , but it depends on subject you choose. I don't about any scholarship that college that gives . But yeah teachers send information regarding scholarship.

Currently I attended 2 events , freshers and diwali mela . They both were really good . Something something happens daily in college, some seminars , jamming session , sports, competition and a lot more . It's like a chota packet bada dhamaka . You will see lots of things going on almost everyday in college. The societies are really active, it's kind of fun i being in the society. The library is a bit small , doesn't meet my expectation criteria. Like it get filled in exam time , there are just 2 floors . The biggest fest of our college in majari which held in Jan-feb. Everyone stays excited for it

I choose this college over other because it's a government and central university. Means it fees is a lot less as compared to private colleges. Moreover it provides more exposure as compared to other colleges . And the crowd , I think there is competition so I will meet more dedicated ambitions people. It will help to make friends with good people . Which indirectly help me in my growth. Placements was my another criteria to approve this college. Also there is no attendance criteria just some marks i will loose , so I can do intership and learn other things with college

The faculty of daulat ram college is really amazing , I love them . I am not aware of teacher student ratio . The faculty to student is really sweet . Like they listen us , give us really amazing advices . The teachers are approachable, they even respond to WhatsApp messages . I like Akansha ma'am a lot , like she is really sweet . When she teaches it feels like my school favourite teacher is teaching, she clears every concept. She even clears the dumbest doubt . And I like the Ruchi ma'am a lot too my ge psychological teacher, she is also sweetest , everytime I think I ruined everything , she just appreciate me . She is a angle ??

So the hostel curfew timing is 7 pm and the canteen closes at 6 pm . There are some other colleges of Delhi University. So it vibes like a student area , it's really beautiful in night , like lights give a fairy touch in everything. If you are coming north campus, you should try sudama ki chai . And there is a bhaiya outside the gate of college you should try his paratha too .... You will find lots of eating options
