Remarks

At last, I can say that college is good, college management is excellent.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

In my views, my course Mathematical Science is quiet difficult than other courses. In my course there is more work in practicals than theory , hence a time-consuming course and I want today that a subject Python Programming makes it more difficult than others. Exam structure will be good.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of my college is not good because it is in the area where there more traffic. Hence students get disturbed during the study. But in this college, there is big ground for playing. In general, college placement is good, not excellent. Yet I had not been availed for any internship.

College Events

3.5

As I am fresher, I had no knowledge about the events celebrated in the college. But some seniors told me that various events like fresher party, college festival and other events. Hence, my College participates and celebrates all the events with the soul of heart.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I got admission through JKPMSSS Scholarship scheme but I have not to pay any fee to college. But my college fee was near 14000. And my other expenses 12000 are to pay the rent for a flat in which I am residing. More than I have to pay 1000 rupees for electricity and water bill.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not availed a loan but scholarship JKPMSSS. As I am from Kashmir Govt.gives a chance us to study across India through this scholarship. I have availed it because my percentage in 12th is good.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is good, the gender ratio is good and also diversity is good. Lab, sports and competitions are very good at college. The lab consists of every book related to my course and also for other courses. In the lab, there is a very good environment for reading. Generally, Everything is good.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I am not residing in the hostel but in a flat which I had rented. The flat is quite good with one room, kitchen and bathroom. For this flat, I have to pay 12000 rupees per month. Here the facilities are good and are arranged by myself. There is a slow internet network on my phone.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, of course. Alumni network is good and senior students help the juniors more and give them some tricks to go through the books where they can get marks easily. And also juniors pay respect to the seniors.

Admission

I had got admission in this college through JKPMSSS scholarship scheme. My admission process started on 15 June and ended on 28 June. Hence my admission process was somewhat difficult than others. First I registered myself at Delhi University, one of the reputed university in India, then my admission got a stage in this college. I am quite happy in seeking admission to this college.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of my college good but not best as they are not trying to maintain and end the question in the mind of the student. They try to read the question not related to real life. But I can say that they are good and they should try to make all the problems of a student solved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly
