Course Curriculum Overview

I didn’t get into medical college. The curriculum is not that good in my course. Practical should be more focused and research papers. Timing is just 2 hrs for core paper many students exam are left for writing in short duration

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 22000 something Exam fees - 2750 I dont fees about other categories but there are scholarships for north eastern students. Financial aod is also provided to every students Practical fees are also different

Campus Life

Sabrang annual fest February pradeepan diwali mela in october. Library is good many books are provided and enough space is there. Smartboards are provided in every classroom in science block and laboratory stuff is also top notch. Sports events are conducted. Many clubs are there music timbre for indian classical and e cell.

Admission

No i didn't apply to other colleges i have only applied to du and got it. Deshbandhu norf ranking is 14. No i didn't get rejected because i didn't apply Csas portal and then cuet and then round off till list 3 then spot round then mop round

Faculty

Some teachers are close and some teachers are just for the class give IA marks and go 3 dsc exams 1 dse exams vac and sec exam too Vac exams are compartively easy than other subjects and its for 2 credits

Night Life

Gym is small. Caeteria is good a little red hut but not enough food options. College is closed by 6 pm. Hostel is not in our college. Cakpus timings are 8:30am to 5:30 pm. Hangout places like archery ground, amphitheater and girls common room outside like moolchand lazeez 5 taara taco bell and the locality is safe to roam around night

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is very nice and mostly acceptable in big multinational companies and firms. The whole world is moving towards AI and computers. So jobs in this field are high. And I also had a good interest in computers. That's why I chose this course.

Placement is not that great as I hear it's around 400000 to 500000 annum after 3 years of graduation companies like wipro TCL etc. highest package as I know is 22lpa in 2023 75% students places I will pursue further studies after graduation

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

The course that I am pursuing i.e Zoology Hons is very relevant and comprehensive to the core principles of the subject. It is very well structured into topics for all 8 semesters which makes learning every topic very easy and logical.

My tale of andc

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have pcm in 12 th and in also subjects i am best in chemistry so that's why I choosed it . And andc is mostly a science course college it has mostly science courses only . It has good labs facility most necessary for my course. We have exams per semester only which are average not much hard or easy .

from probably the 3rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments, infotech i think came to our college as far as my knowledge goes, the avg package that im aware of is 3-4.5LPA, which is decent in terms of placement after bachelors, my plans although are to pursue higher education since the package mentioned is not good in my eyes

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good. The admission process revolves around first clearing the cuet(ug) exam and then applying to the delhi university, then there will be 2-3 rounds of Delhi university and you'll be alloted a college as per your preferences and score and cut offs...Read More
