Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate intermediate for the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensives. The course provide a valuable platform ro ensure the students get the best knowledge. 2 Tests happens every month and best out of 2 is choose.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 22295 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is a placement cell in our collage which provide the details of placement through various social meadia platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, facebook,etc. Many well known and reputed organization comes for the placement and as well as for internships also

Placement Experience

We have the placement cell department which places the students. Mainly 3rd year students are eligible for the placements. The highest package was I think 35 LPA in 2024. And average package is around 5 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

My total collage admission fees was around 22,295 for the B.sc. program physical science with computer science in 2025.I am from a Obc-ncl category. I haven't seen the lab fees yet but maybe fees will be there because its just starting of my first semester, so I didn't much knew

Campus Life

The overall experience and campus life is very good including social aspects, clubs involvement and the infrastructure provided. A very clean and well established library has been there. Variety of books are there from history to science to entrepreneurship. There are several other collage societies also like ENACTUS, The deshbandhu express, fiontrai,etc

Admission

I get the admission in the deshbandhu college by cuet examination. 8 have given the cuet examination and on the behalf of my scorecard I have applied to Delhi University and I got this collage after clearing the cutoffs.

Faculty

The faculty members of my collage are very well educated and experienced. They know how to teach in such environment. My collage faculty is b.sc program physical science with computer science. I liked it because it has a very supportive nature. There are total 7 subjects with 3 core subjects are physics, maths,and computer science

Night Life

The night life very cool and enjoyable. There are some well known and reputed ancient monuments like lotus temple (2-3 km from college ). Students chill a lot after the classes. We feel safety and security around the collage area

A great learing experience- my college review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn’t get into medical college. The curriculum is not that good in my course. Practical should be more focused and research papers. Timing is just 2 hrs for core paper many students exam are left for writing in short duration

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

Placement Experience:

Placements in IGNOU are quite limited compared to regular universities. Since IGNOU is an open and distance learning university, it does not have a strong campus placement system like DU or private colleges. There is a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that conducts job fairs and recruitment drives at some regional centers, but these are not very frequent and mostly depend on the location. Usually, students who are in their final year or have completed the course can apply, but there is no fixed semester rule since the system is flexible. The companies that visit are not very large in number and vary every year. Some private firms, NGOs, BPOs, insurance companies, and small IT firms have participated in the past. The roles are generally entry-level such as sales, customer support, data entry, insurance advisor, or junior IT support. There are very limited opportunities for core mathematics or research roles through placements. As far as packages are concerned, the average package is usually around ?2.5 LPA to ?4 LPA, but since IGNOU is an open university, it cannot be expected to have the same placement levels as regular colleges with full-time classes. Also, the percentage of students placed is very small because most IGNOU students are either working professionals, homemakers, or people preparing for competitive exams, so placements are not the main focus. Many students use the degree as a qualification while pursuing their own career path outside. I am currently in my 2nd year, so I do not have personal placement experience yet. The data I have mentioned here is based on internet sources and feedback from other IGNOU students. From what I have learned, placements exist but are very limited, and one should not rely only on them for career building.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason for the choice of course is ofcourse personal interest also, research work in chemistry is highly interesting and also has scope in fields like chemical engineering,forensic sciences etc. The teaching methods are really good and the books prescribed are available in the libraries. Glorious last days of your life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course BSc honours physics is pretty good and it provides sufficient informations in theory classes and practical labs are maintain good and teachers are actively participate in the practicals with the students to teach them more about this course. The frequency of the timing is difficult I can say that because it has many theory classes and on everyday due to which the students can't focus on the subjects and regular activities other than main course.

Where do you see yourself in DBC

I would say genuine

I applied to Delhi university only and this college was my 14th preference, I was getting BCom in Gargi college but i always wanted to go to some co-ed college only so I chose this. I couldn't make it to the north campus due to less cuet score. Admission process of my college is not different, it goes on same for the whole Delhi university. Maths/Accountancy is compulsory to have in 12th standard for applying to BCom hons and all the commerce students have studied accountancy in their 12th standard. Overall admission experience was pretty good, it's just that due to late results of cuet, the whole process got late, but it was quiet convenient....Read More
