The college is situated in a very good and safe location.
The college campus is really pretty. It is spacious and open.
The faculty of our college is one of the top faculties.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not very nice.
The college timetables are not very structured.
The office in college campus is often not effective.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course in particular which is economics has specific aspects in its curriculum which has really piqued my interest from the beginning. The curriculum includes examples which are based on real life applications and it really helps you in reality.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees that i pay in this course is close to 40000-50000 yearly. The overall detailed fee structure includes all the expenses. Students/batchmates who are enrolled in the same college but in different courses have a fee which 5000 higher than mine.

Campus Life

The overall experience with campus life has been great, in terms of safety and security as well as academics, faculty, classes, course aspect. The college offers tons of facilities. The social aspect is also good because everyone is welcoming.

Admission

I chose Jesus and Mary College because of the course combination - economics + human resource management and the location/locality of the college was too good to pass up on. The reviews of jmc have always been amazing. I was not rejected from any other college i applied to but my course was also a priority.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is pretty nice. It is one of the best faculties among other colleges. They are quite helpful too. The economics, commerce and psychology faculty is nice. In one semester you have to give 7 exams of different subjects, they are moderately easy and some moderately difficult.

Night Life

The nightlife around the college campus is pretty lively. The pg area around college i.e, Satya and Anand Niketan includes outstation students from all over the south campus. Everyone gathers at night and the nightlife after college is fun.

A Students Life at the Delhi University as a Working Professional.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course at Delhi Univeristy 8 out of 10. As a student, I'm receiving offline study materials via the post, however, you have to pay around 500 rupees for the books and notes when filling the fees every year.

Very good curriculum- focus on practical approach rather than theories. The relevancy is great for sure. As a students of economics majors I am greatly satisfied with the curriculum here. People with other subjects like Political Science and History are also often offered educational trips

This course curriculum includes learning across 2 feilds like i have economics and maths and later we can continue 4th year to get hons degree . So its really gives time for a person to test himself or herself about which field to go on for as specialization. The difficulty level for this course is easy to moderate.

Honestly, i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensive. At first I wanted B. Com but then one of my Aunt inspired me to take Economics hons instead . It provides a solid foundation for practical applications by blending the theoretical concepts for the real world applications

Just an Honest Review of SRCC, DU, Hostel, Delhi...

Placement Experience:

The placements of Shri Ram College of Commerce are one the highest in Delhi Univerisity. For the session 2023-23, the highest package was 35 lpa, average package was 10.15 lpa, median package was 8 lpa and the gross placement value was 51.6 crore. There were more than 100 recruiters from more than 15 sectors, including McKinsey & Co., BCG, Bain & Co., Kearny, Accenture, Delloite, JP Morgan & Co., etc. with more than 500 offers. The Placement Cell also launched an initiative of assissting people with special abilities to secure placements and interships. As of now, I have not settled to what I am going to do after graduation.

JMC is a beauty!!

Girls college was definitely the priority and only two colleges for which I wanted to go. First was LSR and then JMC. The cut-off for LSR was 763 and for KMC it was 745. I had 756 and so I had to take admission here and CUET UG entrance is the only way of getting in JMC or any colleges of Delhi University....Read More
