Remarks
The college seems to be a good choice for BMM students or for other art streams. Not very active in extracurricular activities but educational events are organised regularly.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum is research driven and fair but it is not that relevant. Cs students need to be in touch with a programming language that is on the rise for eg python. Hence the syllabus seems to be a bit outdated. Exam structure is similar to CBSE papers.
Placement Experience
Haven't availed any but word goes around that the placement for ug courses of IPCW is okay-ish with some good companies turning up over the years and students have received fairly well packages.
College Events
Annual public lecture involves extremes guests giving lectures on major issues surrounding the country. NSS fest, Festivals mela, departments fest's and an annual college fest SHRUTI which seems to be the highlight of the year. This college focuses a lot on environment-oriented workshops, lectures, union activities and other general stuff.
Fee Structure And Facilities
INR 45,500 for the first year. This fees includes lab charges too. IP hostel fees is quite high compared to other colleges. Separately have to pay examination fees or for college t-shirts or hoodies. Canteen food is not very expensive, it's ok. Students are also provided with laptops that can be rented for the duration of the three tear degree course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not availed, cannot say but scholarships are awarded to well performing students who have done exceptionally well in exams.
Campus Life
All girls college, extracurricular activities are ok, sports society and other societies are very active the western dance society, theatre society and western music society are active and well known in the circuit. The college also has poetry clubs, eco clubs and other sub units.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network doesn't seem to be very effective. Senior students seem to be well mannered and interact in a well manner.
