Remarks

The college is good with alot of opportunities underlying with it in a box.Senior students are very helpful and coordinating. They are very kind and also help us to adapt to the changes which we are supposed to deal with. They also help the juniors with the assignments and projects and also tell them the various ways to perform a particular task timely and as per the rules of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course Curriculum is very well developed and goal oriented. We have 4 Continuous Internal Assessment. 1st and 3rd weigh 10-10 marks each. 2nd weighs 25 marks, and the 4th which is the end semester weighs 50 marks and 5 marks for attendance. This is followed for each of the given subjects.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes the college does provide placements. For Bcom Hons i am not sure about internships. And since i am new to this college i am not aware of stipend, etc. The placements start in the 3rd year, odd semester that is the 5tg semester.

College Events

5

Many events and fests are celebrated in Christ University. Starting off with Prarambh for 1st years, followed by Darpan, Prayas, Mitige, Blossoms, inblossoms and many other feasts. Various events and activities keeps the college lightened even at dawn.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible. As the various facilities provided by the college are worth the fees which a student is paying. The fees for a particular year is near around a lakh rupees. The course fees hence comes to around 3 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not quite aware about it. But as far as i am aware, the college provides scholarship for students who are in need of it. The capabilities of the students are seen and thereafter scholarship is awarded to the needed student.

Campus Life

5

The extracurricular activities of the college is the best thing. Whole year events and other sports, intellectual, etc related activities keep on taking place in the college. A complete box of opportunities for students. Proper exposure in all events are also given in the college. And moreover, no biased decisions are made with regard to choosing of a student for a particular event.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

My hostel is also very good. The infrastructure is quite decent and the facilities are also good. Water and power supply is available throughout the day. House cleaning facility is also available at even timings.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful and coordinating. They are very kind and also help us to adapt to the changes which we are supposed to deal with. They also help the juniors with the assignments and projects and also tell them the various ways to perform a particular task timely and as per the rules of the college.

Admission

First we had entrance exam. After clearing that we had a Skill Assessment test in the college itself, followed by a personal interview. The Skill Assessment and personal interview was held in the college itself. The interviewer himself checked the Skill Assessment. Few days later a message was send to the registered mobile nbr and email.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is also very good. Very interactive and they also make the class very adjustable. They deal with the problems of the students in a very smart manner and help them in all their difficulties.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
