Likes

Some of the teacher's are supportive and very helpful to uss .
Some teachers teaching style are good which I have liked is our maths teacher uses ipad and projecter
Computers are in very good condition as compared to my school .

Dislikes

Very small campus is there feels and more building is under construction
Some of the teacher's are very rude to us . Which I hate the most
Shortage of drinking water and the water which is present is not good at all .

Course Curriculum Overview

As I am looking for computer science and engineering courses but as seats are filled so I have to opt for information technology . The course curriculum is not at all relevant . I don't know they are teaching biology to btech students . Courses should get updated as it is too old . Sem exam is on every 6 month and ca happen in every month

Fees and Financial Aid

My total college fees is 625000rs for (2023 year addmission) 1st sem fees was 95000 And 2nd to 8th sem - 70000 approx The fees is increasing every year in this college as I have talked with my junior they are having a fees of 700000 rs

Campus Life

I know that some of technical festivals have happened but every one is not aware of the this events . As the information is not spread usually . And we have a good library with plenty of books available. Sports is not at all compulsory as we don't get any features

Admission

As I have given the jee mains exam but I haven't got a good rank . But I have also give wbjee exam which I have got this rank of 40000 and I got this college as I have set the preference online . And lastly I got seat in this college and got the admission .

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is 1:30 For every 30 students 1 mentor is available . Faculty which I have liked is sanjukta sengupta mam . There are total 8 sem is there in 4 year and in which every semester has 4 ca exam which is easy to clear . But the semester exam is too hard and 50% students able to pass it in all subjects

Interview Experience

No I don't have to face any group discussion of interview I have given a exam wbjee from which I got admission in this college based on my rank. All the pure science students only can apply for this college no one else

Night Life

Our college is not having a gym and library and cafeteria is open till 6 pm . So there is no night life in this college . We have a hangout place out side the college because nothing is there inside .

from 6th semester the student become eligible for campus placement.Companies like google ,microsoft , apple etc visit the campus.the highest package offered around would be 50 lakhs and lowest would be 5 lakh.around 70 percent of the student get placed.i want to get placed and do the job then slowly i want to start my editing agency.

The placement of the college is not that much which I expected but not also very bad the highest package of the college is around 51 lack and the average package is like 11-12 lack and the median of the college is 10 lack pretty much good and placement percent is around 88 percent of students placed every year

Not an Ideal college for campus Life

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements starts after 6th semester and majorily mass recruiters visit the campus and there are more opportunities for the cor branchs as compared to the non core because of the presence of many industries in the nearby areas.For this year, 12lpa is the highest placement in Commvault but the total placement is only around 50-60%, so my plan is to try getting off campus opportunities by the end of my 3rd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
