Likes
- The thing about Du is general is that their fests are fun so you get to meet many people and get internships at the fests.
- The campus is pretty decent and has a huge ground for fests and other things
- There is no much attendance issue if your attendance is more than 50%
Dislikes
- the administration is slow if you have any grievances.
- there are no Air conditioners and fans are very slow too
- some of the professors do not take classes all semester if they are in any council
Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum is pretty good and modern. you have many options to choose for your general elective. there are practicals like tally, excel which helps you in landing a job. so overall the course is relevant and up to date
Internships Opportunities
there is generally 1-3 government departments internships otherwise there's this internship fair where you can apply for lot of internships and get selected. You should must do 2-3 internships in your 3 years of college
Placement Experience
Placements are decent in my college. Companies like EY, Delloite, PWC comes for recruitment in last year of you college you can sit for the interview. The conversion % is around 20-30. the package offered is generally 4-5LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
You only have to pay around 50000 for the entire course which is very reasonable. There's no as such extra fee but every semester you have to fill an examination form which costs around 1100-1500. I feel 17000-18000 a year is very decent for the education you get.
Campus Life
The campus life is okay. The library has many books and it is air conditioned. The societies are pretty active and good. Major societies are Placement Cell, Commtalks, FIC etc. our college is also politically active
Admission
The admission process is pretty easy. Here you have to give cuet first and after the results you can fill your application form on Csas portal of du. Here you can make a preference list. this college was my 12th preference. My top preferences were notth campus colleges and Venketeshwara and then Arsd.
Faculty
The examinations are pretty easy if you solve pyqs and shivdas. sometimes the accounting paper is challenging. the faculty is helpful but the administration is not. you have to wait a lot for any issue.
Night Life
there are no hostels in my college. But the srea near by is full of cafes and clubs which makes it a perfect place for friends to just hangout. There are many pgs and flats near by for out station students.
