Our college have some other courses except from study and our teachers are also very good hearted
The way of teaching is very good in our college
And our teachers is also kind and they help us in our study

Dislikes

There is some points i didn't like i'e the seniors who also dominated us
And also there is so many pressure in degree level
We have to wrote assignment practical and also we have to give seminar

Course Curriculum Overview

I take history as a major subject and firstly i was thought that this history is so boring i was regret about this subject but time passes I used to love this subject and trust me history is very interesting subject we gave to know many things about our elders and ancient things

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In addmission i have to pay 7000rupee and in middle i have to pay 1200 rupees for 1st semester exam and there is still and I am from out of Assam so i started to live in tinsukia for my studies and also i have to pay monthly rent and this amount is above 2000, only for rent and also i have to pay for my other cource above 3000rupees

Campus Life

Usually in my college we didn't have off period, from 9 to 4pm I have to attained the classes and in some days there will br no classes so I used to visit our college campus with my friends and the campus is not so big but still our campus is very neat and clean

Admission

Women's college tinsukia is very good at teaching and this college is very strict and before addmission my senior friend suggested me for this college and after addmission in this college i used to know that this college is very good

Faculty

Exam system of pur college is very strict and we all in CCTV surveillance so no one can cheating in exam and this is very good decision and also we have to wrote a lot in exam so as a cbse students i have to face some problems because in CBSE board we have to wrote only main points and we will get the number

Night Life

Our college have gym students Used ot visit the gym for their body strength and at the time of college week i used to experience lots of sports and this very interesting all the seniors and juniors used to enjoy the college week and this friendly environment is also so good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it

A Comprehensive Review of Tinsukia College

I applied for Darrang College (under Gauhati University), Tezpur too. As I wanted to go there, but the limited availability of PG and distance from my hometown let me to choose Tinsukia College (under Dibrugarh University). I didn't get rejected in any college. I got confirmed admission chances from both Tinsukia College and Darrang College. First of all the students need to register and apply for the college in Govt. of Assam's SAMARTH admission portal. After that the merit list is prepared and the students are required to personally visit the college to take final admission.
