- The college has a great library in which books are provided for free
- The faculty are cooperative (mostly) , they will help you in everything if they can help
- Inter college is present so student can go and participate in other college events
Dislikes
- Infrastructure of college is not good at all
- Campus is very small so student will not get a great campus
- The fees is very high with respect to college giving placement
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum isn't upto mark Curriculum may or may not prepare you for real world depends upon the student Area of improvement is they need to update their technology and bring better computer There shouldn't be 4 CA exams it uses most of the students time for preparation of the main semester exam
Internships Opportunities
I am inexperienced in this section neither I have heard about internship from college by any other student, I think so there is no internship present in the college or there might be, might upadate on this in future
Placement Experience
From 5th semsester student become eligible for placement Many companies this year and almost all 70% student which sat in the interview got a jon Average went around 7 lakhs per annum My plans are to just give a better life to my parents and myself
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise overall fees (excluding hostel) is around 1,80,000 this includes admission fee lab fee, registration fee, development fee This fee doesn't include any fest/event fee ,club fee, neither exam fee Many types of scholarship are present including aikyashree, Swami vivekanand Merit cum means, Oasis scholarship, kaniyashree etc
Campus Life
All types events takes place which includes Dance, Drama, singing, tech, sports(indoor and outdoor) etc Semester exams related books are all present novels and other skill enhancing books are also present
Admission
I was applying for Haldia Institute of Technology The reason I didn't got that college was my WBJEE rank was around 20k and from counselling of two rounds I got this college The admission is done both via JOSA counseling and WBJEE counseling and student can directly come and take admission
Faculty
Faculty are good (mostly) they try to help student in every way possible the relationship is healthy between student and teacher Name of the faculty I like is Averi Banerjee she is a good person and a helped student a lot during exams There are 4 CA exam before the semester exam , the CA exams are cleared by almost all student but in the semester exam 30% student fails Paper level lies between moderate to hard
Night Life
Everythy closes at night there is no gym cafeteria is present, a cafe is also present I am not a hostel student I don't know about hostel life I don't know about famous hangout places but the view from the rooftop is amazing
