- College in time is 8pm. Not really appreciated
- Most cultural events happen a week before exams

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is just like any other engineering college in India. Most courses have certain subjects that might not be that relevant in today's date. New courses are being introduced as per the current demand in the market
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available for 3rd year students offering roles in various technical and non technical domains. Eg- JPMC- Software engineering intern Bain and Co- Product manager and business consulting
Placement Experience
Campus placement is offered for all branches. Good companies ranging from Oracle to Deloitte to Bain and Co. for various tech and non-tech roles offer decent packages for freshers. Tech companies pay better
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship details- Merit Scholarship on the basis of JEE Score Merit cum Means scholarship for income under 10LPA Various other scholarships like Alumni Scholarships, Government aided scholarships etc
Campus Life
Annual techo-cultural fest called Saturnalia happens alongwith a food fest called 'Thapar Food Festival' and a sports fest called 'Urja'. Campus Life is great, it has the biggest college library in India. Sports and extracurriculars are encouraged
Hostel Facilities
A/c and Non a/c rooms are available. Various accomodation types like 2 seater, 4 seater, 1 seater A/C and non A/C both are there with attached and common washrooms. Mess menu is standard, with a decent food quality. Hostels are present inside the campus
Admission
Wasn't getting a good branch in any government college based on my JEE score. This college accepts Boards percentage also (a very high cut ~96-97 percent for computer science) and provides everything you need as a student.
Faculty
Faculty members vary from department to department. Most faculty are very knowledgeable, assist you when required but some professors are very strict, go by their own set of rules and often are biased.
Night Life
A lot of restaurants and hangout places around the college at a distance of approximately 2km. Various tourist spots and religious places like Gurudwaras and Mandirs. Multiple gyms around the campus. The hostel entry timings at night are 8:30pm and the campus is 8pm
