our college campus is very big,neat ,clean,and beautiful
there are many co curriculum activities for the students
every year we are provided with a mentor who helps us through the year for having any problem in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The exam is conducted in a nice way with a plenty of time.they teach us with ppts which are very useful for us.Beside teaching they provide us with extra knowledge which will help us in future.The exams are quite rough.

The fee amount is little high. about other departments I don't know but microbiology department fees is little high.yes the college provide scholarship and I have got one and we have to pay if our attendance comes under 75

this college provide a huge library and a cyber room where we can do our online work and .classes ar provided with ac .there are many fests which are held throughout the year .one of them is xavotsav

I was selected in this college on my 12 board. exam marks which was 94 .this college takes students on number which is above 85 and previously I was aiming to join this college when I was in class eleven

Faculty

the faculty members are very friendly with us . they treat us well and they provide useful ppts for our study material.there are 2 exams in 1semester one is continuous assessment and another is semester exam

Night Life

yes it has a huge canteen with different types of snacks and a field where we can spent time with our friends.outside the college there are many restaurants, cafe, and also there is police station.and the place is safe very much

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in this college is uoto date, very relevant and with at par with the real world scenario, we learn about disorders, different schools of psychology and a lot more. There is a perfect balance of practical and theory, which is needed in psychology. In terms of improvement, there is always room for it, as of now there arent any suggestions from my side. The frequency of exams are fine, they give us time to prepare however I feel like as, according to the NEP, the semesters should be 6 months long but here they are cutting it short.

Students get placement offers in the first year of M.Stat. In general, however, most students prefer to go abroad for higher studies. Students who sit for placements mostly get placed in Finance and Analytics companies, typically in Business Analyst, Risk Analyst and other roles. ISI has a 100% placement record for B.Stat- M.Stat students. Companies like Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co., JP Morgan & Chase, Amazon, etc. come for placements. SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

I thought of pursuing engineering and therefore have WBUJEE and JEE both. Admission i tried at almost all the colleges of Kolkata. Goenka was also in my mind as there the classes are in the morning and even St Xavier's Private University as well. SXC is an old pedigree!

There are no entrances like the Delhi University which I gave as well. Here admission are based on 12th percentage and the subjects that we have had. So, for general category in 2025 admission 92.7% from any board was the cut-off. For OBC it was 81 and for SC/ST students it was 73%....Read More
