Good physical education department.Gym facilities are available .

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very relevant for our course. The frequency and timing of the exams are around six months gap there is a university end semester. There are also internal exams conducted in our college.

Top companies which come to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam include L and T,G10X ,infosys. The roles offered are supervisor and technical supporters of the coordinate manager. They also provides the stipend for the internship.

Placement Experience

Placements opportunities are good.We are eligible to appy for placement from seventh semester onwards.Top companies which come here involves L and T,G10X ,Infosys. Around fourty students gets placed every year.

Campus Life

The overall experience is just outstanding. We have our technical and cultural fest conducted every year.Our technical fest is ritu and cutural fest is keli.We have our gym facilities separate for men and women.

Inorder to get into Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam you have to write an exam called keam.Keam exam is conducted every year.If your rank is below ten thousand rupees you have a high priority of getting into our coege.

Faculty

The faculties are very much qualified and all are graduated from Indian institute of technology and many have phds and doctorates in many research fields. They also published many research papers and all are very helping mind.

Night Life

Gym facilities are available here separate for men and women.Two cafeterias and canteen is available is inside the campus.Campus time is from nine am to five am.Kottayam the main city is within ten kilometres.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Placement is average .top MNC except Google and Microsoft comes here.examppes are Infosys,TCS,Shobha construction etc.average package was 4 lpa some gotabove 10 lpa some students got more than one placement .no of offers made was about 300.from s6 onwards students become eligible for placement. Placement training is very good in the college.about 40 percentage got placement oncampus.highest package was 15 lpa.minimum package was 3 lpa.
