- The discipline is very good because this is a second line of defence course so every student behave like a cadet .
- Campus Life is very enjoyable and many fests oftenly happen here like many sports events and others .
- Building of hostel and campus is modern and smart board are available fully air conditioning available in classroom.
Dislikes
- Pollution beside the college because this college is in urban area so air quality is bad.
- They need to improve on the gyms and other sports equipment.
- Traffic outside the campus the campus is in pose area .
Course Curriculum Overview
This course is really different from any course because this course is related to merchantnavy and it is like the second line of defence, the college wants discipline from you after anything from you so if you are disciplined than you are safe in campus.
Internships Opportunities
Our campus visits many other campuses ports for students internship and provides a good chance for every student for internship. Main projects are the seman technnicss and working with ropes mooring operation and etc.
Placement Experience
From third semester the students became eligible for campus placements, Sima marine , synergy,chevron,msc and many other big companies like fleet aema also visits here . All students who are passed with no arrears got placements here .
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee of imu Kochi is 8lacs rupees but you have to pay it by semester wise each semester 1.22lacs including hostel and all other expenses there is no scholarship available for other state students except of kerala .No,extra fee of labs and gym and other things are not wanted.
Campus Life
There are many festivals celebrated in the campus related to any religion. All type of geners and books are available in campus library whatever you want availablity is there. Here is commander who ruled the campus
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are fully furnished with a roommate and two fans book shelf, almirah,chair table . There is a variety of menu here and you are not allowed to live in pg because of your discipline purpose.
Admission
I choose this college because my rank was low but after that I realised that this is such a great college because the placement rates if the college are too high ,my rank was low I was worried about this
Faculty
Faculty are available according to there session in week many are visiting faculties and they also take classes timely . Faculty treats students just like there freinds . Vtr sir is my favourite teacher of physics iike him very much because he is very helpful to the other students.
Interview Experience
Interview are very strict and the criteria for the interview is the name of the students is shortlisted by the faculty accordingly to there discipline and behaviyand also there cgpa and all the syllabus we have to cover for this
Night Life
No there are no gyms and no outings are allowed without permission. A campus gym is available in campus And there many hangout places here Campus timming are 9 to5.30 There is full security with guards and cameras .
