- The hostel facility is too good even better than any other colleges in India also
- The campus is decent big and full of greenery.
- In the passing out batch there are 36 students and 34 are placed out of them , all the girls of present 2nd and 3rd yr are already placed
Dislikes
- There is no swimming pool , it is proposed to govt.
- Its position is very far from North and East india
- Sometimes u may be don't like the food, because of South Indian supremacy
Course Curriculum Overview
Specially the hostel is very good it's very clean and hygienic. Also the placement is very good here. They have simulation room , library, Big workshop , computer lab for practicals. The teaching method is excellent, we just need a swimming pool.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies like Msc , Synergy, thom , shipping corporation of India , NYK , chevron, wallems , vships , seven islands who give internship/placement in their companies.. and u can earn a decent amount in the time period of dec cadet.
Placement Experience
From 3rd semister they are eligible for placements. Highest package is 900000. Msc , Synergy, thom , seven islands,apj , chevron like companies comes here. Almost 90-95% are getting placement every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 275000.caution deposit is 30000 in the time of admission u have to pay the caution deposit and the first semister fees that is 122500. U also have to confirm ur seat by 30000 after getting a college in councelling.The fees for all categories are same.. Many state have their caste scholarship criteria u can apply for them also.For girls from Kerala they get 100000 rupees per year as a scholarship.
Campus Life
Annual festival is Nautica , there are vat collection of books in Library , u can access the book in e library also. Every classroom has projector in it.There are many events related to sports are held here.. every morning and evening you can play volleyball, basketball, football, cricket , Badminton and table tennis.there are merchant Navy clubs also
Admission
U have to clear with ur IMUCET exam with min 3000 rank. U have to be fit for medical. And all the documents should be clear though.u will find everything on the IMU website.In reservation if ur rank is less there is a probability that u got this good college.The admission process is good but it's lengthy
Faculty
1:40 faculty to student ratio are in our college. The faculties credentials are very good they prepare notes by themselves and send us.. also they write the notes on the board. The soft skill is learning us how to interact with new people.
