- academic pressure the curriculum is very demanding leading to high stress
- hostel and mess facilities have many issues regarding foods while improving they are doing nothing

Course Curriculum Overview
the course is very good and for a specific subject they offer three types one is theory classes and lab and tutorials that will clear all doubts of a student i think so they should provide more study material for some subject we dont have enouigh study materials to study but we managed from the lecture on youtube of the same professsors i think so the mid sem exams are quite lenghty and time is 2 hr i would be happy if there is 15 min more and if u study that is not diificult
Internships Opportunities
i am a frsher i dont know much about that but placement is very good and many lpa are there and its also depend on your skilll and cgpa of the the brach you can go on campus and off campus and core non core also
Placement Experience
placements are very good in my college and there are international placements also and top comapanies like microsoft and goggle also come here placements statr from last year i think so this year 371 offers were made i heard somewhere high package of this year is not reveled i dont know and percentage is belongs to the branch also to which you belong i am studying here but no interested in job i want to do my startup or something like that .
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees structure. For General / obc category students , the tution fees is rp 100000 per semester addtional charges include : 1. hostel and mess charges : 25k per semester 2. other fees : 1. admission fees : 3k one time 2. registration fee : 1.5k per sem 3. caution deposit :; 10k refundable 4. lab and development fees: 5k-10k per year the total charges are 2.5L-2.7L category wise concession : 1.sc/st students : tution fees is not there but other charges are there 2. ews students : eligible for partial fee waivers. 3. obc ncl students : some scholarships are availiable but no full waivers scholarships : 1. merit cum means scholarhsips : provides 1k-2k permonth for ews stduents 2. institutes free studentship - cover tuiton fees for finiacially weak students
Campus Life
if we talk about festivals there are many socities which in our college and every society has their annual fest but some popular are spring fest and kshitij which were held in january of every year typically they both are of three days each we have the largest library among all the iits and it is very easy to acess and isuuing of books fromthere and there is very much spaces in lib there are diff halls of diff types and stidy environment is very good and the technologies in classrom is also very good good quality of mic and speaker and very good sports facility and there is inter iit and gc (genral championship) every year .
Hostel Facilities
i am fresher first year ug for fresher in one room there are three peoples you can choose otherwise they put in randomyly and mess quilty is average not soo soo good and they have particular timign for opening of mess in room for a person there is one fan charpai and cuboard smalll and stidy table and lan internet acces and many wifis thats it

iit kgp was my top choice due to its academic execellence research , opportunities and extensive campus facilities before finaloizing my admisiion i had also considered other top iits however i choose iit kgp beacuause of its comprehensive curriculum diverse student community and well established placement ooportunities the admision process is through jee adv exam which is one of the toughest exams in world.\
Faculty
iit kgp offers a rigorous academic exeperience with well structured course curricuclum and diverse facukty the faculty to student ration various depending on the department and course typically range from 1:20 to 1:40 while many professor ar highly knowledgable and approachbale some can be formal and less interactive proffesors involve in research and collaboration the exam system consist of two major exams per smester mid semester and end semester along with class test and surprise test and labwork
Night Life
there are many campus in our campus some are 24/7 open and you can anywhere there is ccafess and very beautifull cafes and there is no timing in night to be in hostel you can go anywhere any time its uptu you there are many hangout places like adda and for safety there are security card and girls are also safe in our college which is very important
