Not satisfied with placements and college.

Positives- Really good for the software branches where you will get good teaching staff and placements.College has got good brandname in market which helps for your future. Negatives- Poor polacements for Hardware branches.teaching quality they can improve.Syllabus they can change.

The syllabus was quite good. They have to adopt new subjects according to the present market, I think they have to improve this.In the first year they have to remove some unwanted subjects which will help for students.The depth of the syllabus they have to go more i think.Overall Its ok not too good.

They will not offer any internships,We only have to search for the internships. After 6th semester during holidays we have to do internship compulsary at any industry.I did my Internship at BEML Mysore.From department I got good help to get internship.But amount of stipend for internship is poor only i got 1500Rs.I was not satisfied with the amount they paid.

Placements for my branch that is Industrial and production Engineering is very bad.They will not offer any good mechanical companies.Hardware students have to fight with software branch students to get placed in software companies.Placements for software branches is really good at the same time it's bad for hardware.I am totally disappointed with placements.

The major event at NIE is TECHNIEKS, A fest which will be conducted in the even semester. DJ night will be arranged one day where students can enjoy.Many singers will come and make concerts.Cultural activities are made.Paper presentations are arranged for different college students.A week before TECHNIEKS an event called ADAMS made,In that all barches should participate on their respective day at parking lot where they have to do some activities at lunch time.Alkong with these Departmental fests are made.

Fee structure is Feasible.Not too much per year for the students.Its around 25000 per year.It includes all examination fees in it.We have to pay the fees through online at any debit or credit card with the particular bank which they mention.

Karnataka E pass is one of the most famous scholorships which i took.to avail the scholorships the student should have the required criteria like income ,caste etc. other so many scholorships are available. There is a department called scholorship department where you can ask officer and apply for scholorshios.

All Labs are not good.Some of the labs don't have AC facility which makes some trouble for students to work for long hours.Activities are done,It depends on students interest.Sports complex is there where you can play any games if you are good you can select for intercollege compitations.

I rate 6 out of 10 for boys hostel.The food is not good.renovation has done just this this, So its ok now.Before it was really bad. They provide washing machine for washing.Sundays they provide special meals.Overall its ok.And it costs around 70000 per year.

Seniors told regarding college which were really helpful for me to join for this college.They told me about college rules and regulations which we have to follow made me easier to adjust for the college.

There will be 3 internals.Best of 2 will be considered for 50 marks.Each subject in internals carry 25 marks.Student have to obtain minimum of 25 marks to get halticket of any subject.If he fails that subject will be dropped and shoud be taken in the next year or after even semester end in summer term examinations by paying respective amount.Semester end exam will be conducted for 100 marks which will be reduced for 50 marks then they add with internals marks to make it for 100.If student fails in Sem end exam he can take up that subject after semester end in makeup by paying respective fee.Exams results comes in SGPA for out of 10.

I wrote karnataka CET after my PUC examinations, CET results announced and I went for my document verifications at hassan.Firstly KEA website opened mock allotment for colleges,I applied for that and I got my seat at NIE college with branch Industrial and production Engineering. Then I applied for first round according to my priority at KEA website. I got NIE with Industrial and production Engineering.I went to the college with all the required certificates I joined in the first round.

NIE has some good teaching faculty along with that some bad faculties also there. Mathematics department has really good faculties,Physics faculties are also good.I think some my own departmental faculties only not too good.Some faculties are really good, some are really bad.Some faculties were making gredge on students which are really bad at these type of institutions.Otherwise faculties are friendly with the students,they are always ready to teach and solve the problems.
