Course Curriculum Overview
The reason I chosed this course was that I had interest in programming languages from a long time and wanted to persue this course Definitely ot prepares one for real life appiications as entire engineering is based on real world applications The area of imorovement in this course would be replacement of traditional approach of teaching to be replaced by new practical approach
Fees and Financial Aid
A reaaly nice place for anyone who wants to get placed,the college shows lot of efforts in making sure the student gets placed,5/5 for study enviroment although the campus is bit small and the college lacks in extra co-curricular activities but still the college is overall decent The fees structure is categorical for non karnataka and karnataka localites For non karnataka(admission through comedk): Tution fees:3,10,000 For locals Tution fees:1,50,000 There is availabilty for management seats aswell There are many scholarships or financial aid within the college and one can easily get details regarding this from reception or college's online portal
Campus Life
I am definitely enjoying the campus life,there are many clubs within the campus including both technical and non technical clubs We have a wide range of books and journals available in our library and can be easily accesed Each classroom has projector facilities but I do agree the classrooms are not that good There are many sports events happening regularly in college
Admission
The reason I chose is this college over other comedk colleges for because of its prime location in banglore.Also by the wnd of counselling this was my only option I tried applying for many AKTU colleges but got rejected due to low percentile in jee mains The mode was admission for this college is as follows Comedk(for non karnataka students) Kcet(for karnataka students) Management seats
Faculty
Like for cse branch first year we have intake of 180 students and 4 sections(per section 8 faculty would be there for the 8 theory subjects usually) For lab,seperate faculty would be there Each student is assigned to a mentor Overall the faculty is very approachable and friendly,the faculty make sure that every student is getting approached and get helped We also have a counsellor facility aswell Each section has student voleenteer as peer learning(PLT) and peer support (PST) for both academic and peer support for students The faculty I liked was dr.martha simon faculty for python programming because of her clear concepts of topic and lineancy in paper checking aswell There isn't any faculty I disliked overall Well for first sem We are having two internal exams(IAT 1 & IAT 2) and 1 external exams.the faculty make sure that the students are well prepared for both the internals aswell as the external
Night Life
The campus gate gets closed by 8 pm,So there isn't any nightlife activies in our college But gyms can be accesed free of cost for both hostellers and outside students aswell Timmings is different for them Library can be accessed till 10pm night and during exam time it is accessible till 12pm We have a cafeteria inugrated by Apj abdul kalam.
