Life at YCCE.

As my branch was the pioneer for IOT we were the first to be a part of this upcoming legacy both the teachers and students are at learning stage right now for this new subjects and circular introduced by the college. Because the subjects are new even for teachers it can sometime get quite difficult for both the students and teachers to understand a few topics.

I got a internship at CODONS technologies Nagpur as a Data Analyst intern. In 4 years of engineering I worked on various projects mainly hardware, and it was a great experience collaborating with students of different departments and learning new things.

7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Many main stream companies have visited our campus this year including Infosys, Capgemini, L&T, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bristlecone, etc. with selecting over 450+ students. The highest package for students graduating in year 2025 is 9.5 lpa with an average package of 3.5 lpa. The placement drive is still going of with 46% of students being placed right now and there are many more companies to come. For me I got an offer from one of the company that came for college placements, and I would be going for it.

The total fees that I pay per annum as an open category student is 1,51,600. Other than that exam fees per semester was 3,000. This is all for open category student or for those who have taken admission through ILQ. For the category student the fees varies like: OBC student 89,000 EWS student 22,000 SC/ST student 3000 And all the students have to pay semester exam fees of rs 3000. Many students can avail scholarship benifits offered by the government, for information about that you can simply Google for those details.

The annual fest held is at very grand level student committee, professors and all other members work hand in hand to make it a success. Generally held in month of February. Other than this a technical fest is held by all the departments in month of November its a delight to students from all different departments competing against each other and has participants from all over the country.

YCCE is among the best colleges at Nagpur the placement record is quite well and has earned a great reputation over the years. Choosing YCCE over other colleges over Nagpur for me was due to multiple reasons it has a close proximity to my residence, other than that YCCE is among top colleges of Nagpur with the highest placement record this year. I have gotten in contact with faculty members of different colleges as well and the praised YCCE over their own college that means that this college holds a reputation.

The faculty at the Department of Electronics are super friendly and easily approcable you can go to them for all you problems let them be related to your academics or other. All the faculty members present at the department have their own way of teaching that is easy to understand and they keep on improving continuously. The exams aren't very difficult to clear one can get good grades with just a week of studies as most of the doubts are cleared in classroom itself during teaching session, one has to just go through the notes provided by the teachers.

There are two different cafeterias present on the campus, with the timings similar to the college hours. There's a dedicated gym in campus near to boys hostel which has to be paid for additionally this facility is majorly used by the on campus residents or hostelites. The timing for both boys and girls hostel is 9pm.
