All about IGDTUW

This course Computer science engineering with artificial intelligence is considered top branch in IGDTUW. In this course we get to learn about artificial intelligence, machine learning along with core computer science subjects. The relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum fits really well. The profs are generally supportive and interactive. The things taught in the syllabus can be used to solve real world problem. Fews profs yet use the traditional method of teaching instead of using the digital board. The exams are conducted in 2 phase: mid terms and end terms. A total of 4 exams in a year and 2 in a sem along with several class assignments, ppt , research paper and practicals. The difficulty level of paper ranges between moderate to high.

The main internship opportunites for 2nd years are Google step, Uber SHE++, CISCO, LinkedIn CoachLn with a good stipend offer. Generally the comapnies takes an OA for elimination and then conducts interview of the students and select few from them.

IGDTUW is known for it's good placement opportunites. It provides very good internship as well as placement opportunites to students. From 2nd year, 3rd sem end Companies start visiting for 2nd year interns. Thus from 2nd years, students get eligible for campus internship session followed by internship for 3rd years. In 4th year, students sit for placment drive if didn't get any PPO offer. The big companies such as MICROSOFT, UBER, GOOGLE, ADOBE, BNY Mellon etc visit the campus for recruitment. The average package IS of 19-20 LPA and for cse/cse-ai branch the average package ranges between 22-25 lpa. I Plan to be placed in a good company after my graduation for a SDE job roal.

The fee structure of IGDTUW for four years is 125000,135000, 145000, 155000 respectively. First year students can apply for FFE scholarship as well as there are many fee-waiver offers for SC/ST and EWS students. 100% fee waiver to students who has jee mains rank not more than 5000 or EWS students with CRL ranks not more than 50,000

The overall experience of campus life is good, fun, engaging. Being a girl's college it's not as happening as a co-ed college but it's still good. Our annual cultural fest named Taarangana is very famous and popular typically held in the month of feb-march. The cultural techfest Innerve have not been happening since last two years(since I joined). There's a good accessibility of books in the library. Classroom have smart/digital boards and projects which is used by profs for teaching but few prof still use the traditional method. The tech socities are active and happening. Engaging, interactive sessions, speaker sessions, learning cohorts keeps on happening. The sports society of the college SYNERGY is also quite active. we have basketball , volleyball ad badminton court in the campus. Apart from technical socities there are many social socities are also there which are quite active like rotaract club, CSD

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical university for Women is a very prestigious college, well known for it's outstanding placement and internship opportunities. This college was on the top in my JAC counselling list. I intially got CSE in first round and then get ugraded to CSE-AI in 2nd Round. The other colleges like DTU, IIITD, NSUT were below in the preference list because of a) Course fee of IGDTUW is compartively less than the other and coming from an economical background I was finding a good college under budget and IGDTUW falls in that category. b) Placement and internship opportunites are very high compared to others. c) Seniors are very helpful and the environment/atmosphere is very supportive. The admission process is very easy , after getting a seat in the counselling round, we need to visit college for document verification asked in the brochure and get it verified on the assigned day along with a DD of the remaining fees of first year and thus proceudre is completed. the induction and orientation phase starts after this.

I really appreciate the faculty at our college. They are not just highly qualified but they also have a deep understanding of their subjecrs, which enriches our learning experiences. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite maintained. One of the main aspect is the approachability of the teachers. Students can easily approach them in person without the need of any intermediaries. It fosters a direct line of communication and helps in resolving doubts, queries etc Most of the teachers make an effort to keep the class interactive and encourage participation. Overall the faculty's qualification and their effectiveness greatly contribute to a passive academic environment.

We have a beautiful gazibo in the college near COE-AI lab area, it's my one of the favourtie spot in the college to sit with friends to relax. IGDTUW has shared camous with Ambedkar collge of DU thus students can visit? explore AUD in free time. We have an open gym area, 2 small canteens, library and CC. Non-hostellers aren't allowed to go inside the hostels. There are so many nearby places to visit like chandi chowk, chawri bazar, hudson lane, GTB nagar, vidhan sabha, MKT.
