Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum is amazing as CSE and AI l, the combination opens up a lot of doors. If they say software coding is going to end once AI takes over then we get to learn AI and on how to use that efficiently is what our course teaches us.

Placement Experience

5

Highest package for CSE from our college was of 34 LPA and average is finally in 6 figures as it is now 10 LPA. From top IT firms of the country and multi nationals like Amazon, Microsoft and others have also started contributing to our placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am Reva Pandey and I am doing CSE and AI engineering from Indira Gandhi Delhi Women's Technical University. I have joined in 2024 and the total fees that I have paid is 148000. The fees is same unless and until you are from SC/ST category as in that case 15-25% scholarships are awarded.

Campus Life

5

Dance Society, Coding Society, and likewise many such societies have ensured that we are never short of activities. Sports here are not much as not many girls even indulge themselves into playing a sport. Taranga, the annual fest happens in April every year and we are awaiting that.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel to be honest is because my parent won't allow me to stay off campus. This is the only positive about it as otherwise our hotels are not so good. Monkeys and all seen jumping outside the hostels. Also, the food quality isn't great.

Admission

I applied to DTU but couldn't make it and therefore our college being a girls college gave more comfort to my family then me. So, for me to come and study and Delhi and for them to don't worry much about us, I took admission here through counselling.

Faculty

5

Terms are made on conditions as if we do well, the faculties will automatically praise that and if we don't do well, we aren't going to get any. Hence, toiling hard is the only choice we have and this way I have been managed to impress our faculty Mr, Shyam Mukherjee who also was out previous HOD.

Night Life

5

Kashmiri Gate is not a hangout spot but a commuting spot for many. So, people come here as it is inevitable and therefore the hustle and bustle is always in our vicinity even at night time. From a good cafe point there aren't much to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
