What Students Say

Likes

We have one of the gradest auditorium and we have alreade made a lot of memories there.
Bus stop and metro station both are at a walking distance from our campus.
We also have a photostat shop inside the campus and that has come to our rescue more often than not.

Dislikes

Boys of Ambedkar college keep capturing our ground for most part of college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview

For academics very good would be an understatement and therfore i will call it excellent. BBA hons is tough as of course cant be compared to engineering but still it is tough. Ours is a professional course and we are treated and taught that way.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 106000 per year

Placement Experience

The world is definitely need more of women graduates and therefor placements here are much better than VIPS which is glorified more. Nestle to DeShaw, and few more big names have made sure that placements workth 5 lakhs or around are easily available to 80-90 students out of 120 students of the batch size.

Fees and Financial Aid

BBA at IGDTWU is one of the best. Yes, the college is known more for engineering programs but management program is no less either. The fees is 1.06 lakhs and leeser than its peers Maims and Vips. Also, many studnets have availed scholarship on merit as well as for that an attendance of 85% and a CGPA of 8.5 is required.

Campus Life

Campus is quite big as hostels, kiosk and a canteen is there inside the premises. We have many events and we have done well too as our societies are strong and train us well. Library is definitely small but books wise it is well stocked.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are pocket size ane three students are sharing that. Only Phd and PG students get two seater rooms. Mess is good as fasting away from home have become possible as they provide us the fold that we consume during fasts.

Hostel Fee: INR 160000 per year

Admission

CET is mandatory as 12th percentage of 55 works here. Counselling is how you can join and since there are just 120 seats, yoh have to apply early for BBa and also have to score well in the entrance as well.

Faculty

The best thing is that even if the percentage of attendance drop by a few percent, our faculties dont mind. So, this shows how liberal and understanding they are. Students hardly fail to clear the exams as passing percentage of students is excellent here.

Night Life

Bus stand is 100m to the left of our campus and Metro Station too 200m from the campus. We have a burger king outlet and a few bars too close to our campus. Hostel intime is 8 pm sharp and so wothout a night pass we cant go out.

KPMG, Deloitte, Sun Pharma, Sugar Cosmetics and others as business developer are always be in demand. Around 80% of the students are placed through campus but I am preparing for CAT and other entrance exams as I will be pursuing MBA post my graduation.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

IIMT: A roller coaster ride

Placement Experience:

There are quite few placement opportunities provided by the college but most of them are for sales or operations positions. At the sixth semester students are eligible for the Campus placements. BBA students gets an average package of 3.5 - 4 lakhs. My plan after completing BBA is to start my MBA journey. Currently preparing for my CAT Exam.

An Out of campus gem

Remarks:

Overall the college is a gem, being an out of campus college it provides a student with all the facilities which a north campus college can, from the high tension politics to big relaxing grounds, to happening societies, to big fests and to the latest infrastructure, each and everything is in par competence with north campus colleges.

Built for Her - Ready for the World

I got here by giving JEE MAINS . I also filled some IPU colleges and DTU and even got some of them as well but I chose this over them because firstly the crowd over here is very decent . Secondly , here competition is less compared to other colleges and placement is mind blowing , almost same to other jac colleges. I don't have any internship experience.

I got into this college through JAC Delhi counseling.i also applied in jossa counselling but I preferred Igdtuw over it because of the placement and diversity hiring.I gave jee mains and jee advanced ,in my college you can get entry in it by jee mains only and you're required to have 60% in boards in 12 th and there is reservation for Delhi resident for about 85%, so outside Delhi student be prepared with good rank. My experience of igdtuw

I applied for jac delhi counselling in which igdtuw was my 3rd choice and I got this college because of my rank and other colleges which I opted was DTU and nsut where I didn't got seat . To take admission in igdtuw you have to apply for jac delhi counselling and this counselling contains only those colleges which are in delhi and if you did you 12th from Delhi you are eligible for home state quota in jac counselling which will help you get seat on below ranks also and this counselling considers only jee mains score not jee advance . 5 rounds are conducted in this and after this if some seats are left then a spot round is also conducted. Cutoff rank for obc ncl for ece course was around 3.2 lakh , you can check OR-CR on jac counselling website where you will find cutoff ranks for every round which will help you in choice filling....Read More
