My college

Overall the college is in very good location. The environment is very good for study. The infrastructures are very good. The teachers are highly educated in their subjects. They teaches us very well. The timing of our college is very good that is from 10 am to 5 pm.

I am doing Bachelor of Technology in electrical engineering and now I m in last year that is 4th year or we can say 8th semester. In our 7th sem lots of companies came to our college to hier some students for there company.

Actually internship depends upon the company whether they wants to take for the internship or not. Some students have done internship in Microsoft for 1 year and they paid him twenty thousand every month. The work was on the basis of software.

The placements and job opportunities are very good. Every year almost ninety percent students gets job from our college. But the maximum companies comes to our college is software companies. Approx thirty percent comes for other departments.

The event in our college held in the month of February. There are several types of events organized by our college like basketball competition, athletics, cricket, robot making competition and at last but not the least is our Bollywood nights. In that night singers are invited to light up the environment.

As our college is under government board but our college is private. The fee structure is not that expensive it is quiet feasible for everyone. There are many departments in our college like technical and non technical. In technical there is engineering and BCA, MCA and in non technical there is management department.

Scholarship is given to only those students who have achieved minimum rank four thousand in west Bengal joint entrance examination. Those who have scored four thousand ranks they don't have to pay semester fee as the normal students. They just have to pay 1500 each semester.

Extracurricular activities are very good. In extracurricular activities we do plantation, blood donation, survey etc. The labs are very good and most importantly they are clean. In sports college organize athletics and many more sports.

Our hostel is good but whatever is displayed in our prospectus it is not exactly same. The rooms are not well painted. The bathrooms are not good. The fooding is given in there times that is morning breakfast, Evng snacks and dinner. The hostel is only for the 1st year students.

Our college organize alumni meet. In that day our seniors those have got job in any companies they came to our college and tell us about their experience of working. They tell us what to do for getting a job in any companies and how to face the interviews.

The exam structure is pen and paper. The University of our college that is Maulana Abul Kalama Azad university sets the paper individual for the particular subjects and sends it to the all the colleges of the same board and then we appear for the exam.

I have appeared for the exam of West Bengal joint entrance examination and in that exam I have scored the qualifying marks to take admission in this college.This college is under techno India which is located in kolkata. It is the head of all the colleges under Techno India.

The facalty of my college are very good. They are well educated in their lines. The teaching process is very good. Most of the teachers have done PH.D and M.tech in their desired courses. Some of the teachers are still doing.
