Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is overall relative but some subjects in first year are totally irrelevent. And in all engineering colleges are course is generally same but here are labs are great of civil engineering. There is 75% attendence rule which i dont like

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides great opportunities for internships and gives you a good start . If you are good then you are going to get a very good intern this college gives you a good start if you are good but not it is good for below average and all

Placement Experience

4

In the college there is great oppertunities are there for placement and college provides intership in third year. The placement in civil is bad it is about 25% and if you look from circital branch then it is about 13lakh average

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to submit the fee two time a year for first semester there is 114000 is the main fee for college and for the second semester fee is 94000 and all the other semester it is the same. If we talk about scholarships there is for sc and st fee is in first semester is same like other but in 2nd semester or even semesters the fee is 6000. And college provides full wavier to top 3 students . And in second year college provides scholarship based on CGPA basis to top three students of that branch gets full wavier to tution fee

Campus Life

4

The clubs are great there is clubs like drams , dance , ASCE for civil , ASME for mechanical , roterat for robotics , pdc for videoghrapy , also for photography and a club for startup . The clubs are great if you wanna to enjoy clubs the college is great

Hostel Facilities

2

The college hostels are highly overpriced as you see we have to give 80000 for hostel and also 3500 per month for the hostel. And hostels are not good. And you get a single room in mid of the second sem

Admission

I chose this college because it is old college and a tier one nits like college and it is govt college. And important is that the distance from my home is not much . I got admission through josaa, there is also csab and in the college a b.des is also avilable

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio in general classes is 1:60 and in most of the labs the ratio is 1:20. Exams are moderate like all the nits. The faculty is overall okk they are great at research but also good in teaching but there are some favioursom

Interview Experience

4

There is no interview for admission in the college there is jee mains exam for the college and counselling for admission is josaa and csab. I prepare for exam by coaching institute. The syllabus is same as in jee

Night Life

3

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)
