Likes
- As it is a girls college so only girls are there but the environment here is so supportive and girls hype each other up better than coed college.
- Placement and internship opportunites present on campus as big companies like Google ,Microsoft ,Uber etc come on campus and offer high packages
- The subjects I have i first year are mostly relevant to my course and they are the subjects which will be helpful for future.
Dislikes
- Campus size is small and it do not have much space for sports and other facilities.
- It has very less food joints when compared to other colleges present.
- College do not provide funds to socities and clubs due to which they tend to ask money from the students .
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course i.e Computer Science and Engineering because it is the top branch in my college as well as in india and due to increasing demand of this branch .As it is a core branch you can do specialization afterwards without any issue.My subjects are relevant to the course like it includes web development , mobile application development, dsa etc.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities begin from 2nd year and goes on till 4th year.Many big companies come in the college for on campus placement like Google ,microsoft, Uber and many more.The highest stipend was around 24 lakh per annum.
Placement Experience
My college has one of the best placement stats when compared to another engineering colleges .It has similar placement records as some IITs . Some top companies also visit our college like Google ,Mic
Fees and Financial Aid
This year 2024 fees is 147000 first year and it will be increasing a litle bit not that much.The total fees will remain 6 lakh for 4 years.Scholarship opportunities are available in the college and can also be availed out of campus.Lab fees , development fees etc are included in the fees and is not taken additionally.
Campus Life
Two fest occurs in my college .O ne is diwali fest i.e Jhilmil and other is annual fest i.e Taarangana.Library has wide range of books and are equipped with ac and charging ports.Smart televisions are present in the classrooms.
Admission
Apart from my college I had applied to Dtu and Nsut majorly but I didnt had enough percentile to get into cse in that colleges .I was getting chemical , electrical branches but my interest was in tech branches so I took IGDTUW becuase of that and due to its placement stats.Exams accepted in my college are Gate,Jee , cuet etc
Faculty
The faculties are easily approachable and they can clear your doubts very easily with not that much hustle included .The faculties are supportive and help you understand better.They also help in things other than educational.There are 2 exams in 1 semester mid term and end term .The subjects are relevant to course curriculum.
Night Life
College has a nescafe and a canteen where mostly people hangout .It also has a grund where students play games and sports or chill with their friends.Many hangout places are nearby like CP , Majnu ka Tila etc.
